Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You should definitely call the Sprint BYOD #, 1-866-782-8777, to add a line and see why the phone can not be used and if this issue can be fixed.

According to the other posters who responded to you here as well as info on the A1687 online it should be compatible with Sprint. Just google A1687:

Yeah it doesn't hurt to call sprint to check it out. That's weird.

Glad it worked well for you. Sometimes it just takes longer for the new phone to get service. Sometimes it helps if you manually update prl etc etc settings or do reset network. That's cool that your sim works for both phones.

I have used a 5X too. Yours doesn't bootloop? There is a new class action lawsuit for this.
Yep, I was prepared for an ordeal. New sim, shipping charges etal. But, very pleasant experience, considering the stories I heard with swaps. Regarding bootloop, mine doesn't. I bought it from B&H, I think. Came to know about class action a couple of days back

Anybody having trouble getting data on iphone SE? Sprint phone support tried everything and then asked me to go to corporate store. Checking with slickdeals community before making a 40 mile drive.
Do you have an unlocked cricket wireless iPhone SE? I get "no service" on mine. It's been a few weeks and Sprint couldn't figure out what's wrong. The phone activates fine and they say they can see it on their network. (I have more than 1 iPhone SE and they all have the same problem when I try to use it on Sprint, "no service") They have even created a ticket support for my case but after a missed call I haven't been able to contact them. I left messages and repeated call them back no so far still nothing.

If I have to pay for their phone service I would drop them immediately.

Very good - thanks. And have you checked that the account with the same SSN actually got a new extended end date and not the same one it had before?

If so, that would open up some possibilities for others. It was said to be the case that you had to wait 45 days before using the same SSN as a new customer.

Thanks.

MintSim is on TMobile so that is not a different underlying carrier.

If you want to check if there is a lock you can get the GSX Report on EBay for 99 cents and it will show any locks.

You can't use a Cricket (or ATT/Tmobile/Verizon) iPhone SE on Sprint. Sprint has thier own model (A1723).

Sprint online byod says the imei of my unlocked cricket iPhone SE is valid before I even sign up with their service. Also since activated Sprint tech support says the phone is good on their network. They can even see it on their end from what they tell me.

Remember to go to an Apple store to get a free Sprint Sim for the phone.
The T-Mobile Sim will not work with Sprint.

The imei alone may not allow Sprint to tell that your phone has been crippled intentionally by AT&T.

However if you get the GSX report on EBay for 99 cents it will show the status of locks - maybe you can get AT&T to remove them. Does the phone have the Sprint bands?
