Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

miadealsI was literally on the phone with him, it said pending to him, he said hang up and wait. Im trying to determine how much time is reasonable to wait.
Did you have to make any corrections to the original request? If so sometimes the port gets out of sync and temporarily hung I gather from other threads with porting out from Google Voice to various carriers. But others know better than I do about Google Voice ports so I would suggest wait and see what they say.

Usually it will fix itself in a day or so.....

Google Voice will not accept phone calls from carrier port departments so carriers have no means to resolve promptly any issues that come up. For cooperative carriers, Sprint normally calls the losing carrier and completes the port-in instantly while you are on hold, but Google Voice will not take the call from them or do any ports manually. So you have to wait for the automated process to time out and sort it out on its time scale if any glitch occurs.

Jerks. That is not uncommon especially at Sprint stores owned by dealers.
If you post which sim you need we can tell you the best place to get it.
Apple stores give free Sprint sims for iPhones if you go in person.

Called to active my fifth line on my account. Just got a Moto e4 from amazon and is giving me a SIM card error with the correct SIM according to the Sprint rep. It's been over 24 hours and the number has still not ported over yet. Is there an issue with the porting or the SIM?

There is no such thing as a true sim card error to my knowledge if it is the correct part number.

What he means is that the ICCID *number* you gave him is invalid (e.g too many digits, bad checksum etc.) so his system will not accept it.

Either he typed it in wrong or you gave it to him wrong. Just give it / check it more carefully by having him read it back etc.

I am telling you some of these Sprint clowns are complete morons that that is not obvious to them.

I'm currently signed up with 3 lines on this 1 year free plan. Working out okay. It seems this deal keeps coming. My current promotion expires in Oct. I'm hoping I can transfer to some other provider for a month or so and then port the same number back to Sprint and continue to receive free service for another year. Has anyone done this? I think the requirement is you port the number from some other provider.

You have to either use a different SSN or at least not have had an account in the last 45 days. I am in the middle if the 45 day ported-out wait.

Some people got back on without waiting out the 45 days for whatever reason.

Be aware they could cancel the deal while you are ported out waiting to be eligible again.

So you better off using aother SSN if you can so you have no wait.

I have dumb question. Although I have active t-mobile account with phone A, I want to activate new phone B (compatible with Sprint BYOD) for Sprint BYOD. Can I just port in existing T-mobile number with new phone B for Sprint BYOD?

Yes that is fine and normal. You only need to port in a number, not a paired phone and number.
Only issue is if phone B is another Sprint special offer which is not allowed in general (except with workarounds)..

I'm thinking of doing this deal but our phones aren't eligible (LG G4s). Might be worth buying one of the eligible phones though. I'm on Verizon which is good, but expensive.

Just fyi all fully paid free and clear Sprint Postpaid phones will also work, although they are not listed explicitly.

I have 3 lines of 3 family members. Do not remember if I had to provide social for everyone or just for the primary account holder. If I provided social only for Primary then I can make my spouse the primary next time and that way the social won't be same. What say?

Absolutely that is exactly what you should do.
I would open the new account before month end just to cover the contingency that they unexpectedly fail to renew the offer beyond that.
