Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Absolutely that is exactly what you should do.
I would open the new account before month end just to cover the contingency that they unexpectedly fail to renew the offer beyond that.
You can't open accounts like that. You will need to port numbers out to a different carriers first and then port it back. I think one of the condition is to port the number from some other carrier. I'm trying ti reuse the same phones and same numbers.

I thought I was just agreeing with what you said.

The rest is details.

Basically, you port out one number at a time from the old account to some temporary GSM account, then back in to the new one.

You can open a brand new account on the unused SSN. I think you will find the existing account only has one SSN on it. You will have to already have ported out to GSM one number as a starter.to open the new account with.

Then over time you can move the other lines over the same way one at a time (out, then in).

You could possibly do this over a lengthy period of time and keep both accounts going UNLESS you worry that they will cut off activations of additional lines on existing plans. I do not think that will happen but some do.

But first priority is to get ONE phone activated on a NEW account on a different SSN. It could even be a dummy or old broken phone if you have one.

I ported out of sprint but still I'm able to login to sprint (not showing any active lines). So that means my account is still open?

It does not mean that, they told me. It is normal that you can log in after it is closed. Also, logging in after it is closed does not reopen it either.

But pay anything that is owing and call Account Services at 888-211-4727 to confirm it is closed just to be sure. You can give them your account number instead of phone number.

Can someone help me understand why Sprint would not allow the use of the Prime Exclusive Moto E4? This forum says numerous times this would work but after buying from Amazon and trying to set up the account three sprint agents said these phones could not be used as they were "international versions". I am extremely confused and after an hour of troubleshooting am ready to give up. Any help is truly appreciated

If it mentions Sprint in the Amazon listing, and I beieve it does, then the problem is Amazon's, not Sprint's. That is a DOA issue that you can ask the seller to remedy without any question. Most likely they know about the issue and will just replace the phone from another source. Make sure they acknowledge the issue so they do not send the same part again.

Sprint does not apply any special criteria that would affect its eligibility on the free BYOD offer, so I would not confuse the seller by mentioning anything about the free BYOD offer. I would just call it "Sprint postpaid" (which it is).

I would not complicate it any more than that. The "why" part is not your problem (most likely a wrong model was shipped).

Anyone used data in Europe. I am travelling to Italy next week and planning to add Global roaming for $5 per day. Any opinion/comments?

It is ineligible except for the Unbranded model and the Sprint model (Sprint does not consider the other carrier models compatible and so has not added the IMEI's to its database).

There is no way around it with that phone. Swapping on will not work either.

All 4 carriers' U.S. S8's are listed as eligible. Lots of people are getting Moto's (not the Prepaid Verizon Moto E though). Any free and clear Sprint postpaid phone will work too. And many iPhones.

The list of non-Sprint models is at https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/of...:1yearfree (also versions in the Wiki here but some are out of date).

Has anyone activated an iphone 6s a1633 global/simfree model successfully on this plan? Also where is the cheapest place to buy one new and used? I picked up a used one in excellent condition for 160 seemed like a decent price for the 16 gb.

I believe that Galaxy s8 from other carriers except Sprint has to be unlocked in order to work for Sprint BYOD plan.

Edit: Think I figured it out. The $3 T-Mobile plan?
