Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Would this work?

1) Port out to MetroPCS and get 4 new phones for $100(free phone for each new line)
2) Port back into Sprint using another SSN, simultaneously canceling Metro by porting out
3) Tell rep I have old Sprint SIMs that I'd used in the past(the ones I'm using now) to avoid paying $10.
4) Use the phones I've been using on Sprint this whole time and sell the MetroPCS phones

Sprint sims are always reusable so it would work on the Sprint side.
I do not know if it would meet requirements on the Metro side.

What part might I have trouble with on Metro? Isn't Metro only pre-paid, thus there's no minimum length of time I have to keep the line open/no contract?

There may be no problem. I myself am just not familar with the TMobile offer. Hopefully somebody else is. I have not read their terms and conditions.

will this work with samsung galaxy s9 unlocked? put in imei and getting error
If Sprint is allowing the Unlocked S9 on their network I would imagine the IMEI will need to be whitelisted, added to their database. I had to do this last year with a new Unlocked Moto E4. Sprint advertised they would accept the E4, but they had to add my IMEI to their database. It took a few minutes to have that done. The phone rep couldn't do it, she had to get call another group in the company.

For the people interested about re-doing this promotion, here is what i did. hope it helps:

1. pay $20 at google voice to have the number port out from sprint. (you will need account number in your bill, and pin) and wait for 24hrs to have the number ported.
2. once the number is shown in GV, unlock the number here (https://www.google.com/voice/b/0/unlock), and set up your voice mail pin (it required for port out).
3. once it is port out from sprint, your device are no longer on sprint network, so you should be able to see the device and number become eligible again.
4. call that 8777 number, and have the line added or apply a new account under another ssn. Also the sim card does not need to be changed, you can use the previous sim card.

If you do it now, the account is shown promotion end 4/30/19. so you dont have to wait till end of this month.

Please note, Do not port your number to the provider use the sprint service such as TPO...it is consider a migration, and not eligible for this 1 yr promotion.

For the people have a separate phone, you can pay $3 to unlock GV number and it will qualify for the new account if that phone is released in sprint network already.

The problem in this S9 case turned out to be was that it was international model S9, which Sprint will not activate. (I was able to see that when he gave me more details by private mail). Only the U.S. Unlocked model ending in U1 is supported.

A bunch of people have got Amazon E4's just recently (you can search back) that would not activate and Sprint would not white list either (different from your case), In some cases Anazon claimed they were international models also. However Amazon refunded.

Interesting so that is a different situation then from the Amazon ones then.
People recently have not had posted problems with the Best Buy ones.

I bought the unlocked E4 from BB about 2 weeks ago. No issues for me. They do sell prepaid ones. I wonder if that is the issue with the phone.

If so Sprint was generous in white-listing it for him but I would not count on their doing that all the time.

I have not seen many reports of manual white-listing recently.

Has anyone had any experience swapping phone numbers between two phones already activated on the plan? I ported over my Verizon account with 4 phones plus my home phone since I could do 5. I'd really like to use the phone I have as my home number to have my mobile number instead. Is it best to use the chat that pops up when I'm looking at my bill? Or I was reading on the Sprint community site that their agents could help do that but I'm really afraid of messing up my account since I haven't had it the 120 days yet. I asked the telesales agent if she could do it when I added the 5th line but she said since the terms said no changes for 120 days she wouldn't do it.
