Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

OK I am not sure I follow how far you got while on the phone.
Maybe just as far as ordering the sims?
In either case you will have to call at this point and they will complete it for you.

What's the fastest free way to port OUT of Sprint? I'm trying to kill my old SERO line now that I don't need it at all, but I'm not interested in completing a lengthy exit interview with some CSR in the Philippines. Is TextNow the way to go? Anyone use this service called Tossable Digits [tossabledigits.com]? Says they can do it in one business day. To be clear, I don't care about the number anymore.

Port out to Tello (which is a Sprint mvno so it is just a mouse click for them, not even a real port out, but it counts just the same). You can port over in 5 minutes unless there is a problem. I did. It was instant. You can set up a Tello account with between $5 and $10 (not sure which) and then let it die if you want.

slightly off topic - I'm currently on the 5 lines for $90 deal and it's ending in June. i definitely don't be paying the full price for these lines - any success stories with retentions extending (or making permanent) the 5for$90? i actually only need 4 lines... any suggestions on what to expect? i guess i could port out and get back in to 1 yr free...

So it sounds like you started a new BYOD plan? Did you use the same SS number for the new account?
Used different SSN. Ported number to t-mobile prepaid sim bought from eBay with 0 balance. Next day ported back to sprint by opening new BYOD account with different SSN. The rep added insurance plan in spite of me refusing it, she said she will need to add it in order to give me BYOD plan and that I could remove it later. Called back the same telesales number 1 hour after all was set up and asked the rep to remove insurance plan. Surprisingly the rep couldn't remove it himself, and it took him almost 30 mins of fiddling to remove it. After I hung up I got some chat transcripts on my email , it seemed the telesales phone rep was trying to do online chat from my account to get the insurance removed, lol.

Checked my account, and i am on BYOD plan with no insurance. No issues here, as long as i am on my second free BYOD year!

In my experience T-mobile is the fastest to port out and port back in. Besides you dont even need to have any balance on T-mobile to do it. All you need is T-mobile sim

Right we always advise use Billing Chat to remove the insurance. Telesales is just Sales.

You can also port out to H2O without funding -- just need an unused H2O SIM card (cheap SIMs on Amazon/eBay or try to see how much locally)

Are you sure? From what i read you need to use H2O service for at least 4-5 days with at least 3 calls, to get the account number to port out.

The guy above doesn't care about the number -- just wants to port out to cancel Sprint service so H2O is another option

Yes -- H2O takes about 5 days to give out account number plus you have to fund it and make 3 calls/texts
