Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Reviewers say no. You would not be able to use it until Sprint added it to its approved database anyway. It has some of the needed bands but not all.

Thanks, I have a compatible nexus 5x, but has no number anymore.(deactivated service and ported number)

I would need an active number to port right? Guessing freedompop number won't work, only number I have I don't need right now.

Freedom Pop numbers work fine usually (they are not Sprint numbers) but port may be slow.

You can buy a Tmo "number for port" on Ebay for $5.

Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like opening a new T-Mobile pay-as-you-go plan is the ideal route. Since I'm not concerned about porting any certain number (just ported my longtime cell phone number to Google Voice).

Most think so although personally I shortcut it by buying a "TMobile number for port" on Ebay for $5. But how these sellers are getting the numbers might be questionnable.

I just purchased one from portmaster708. Hopefully he sends it over soon so I can get the ball rolling on this deal. Thanks again for your help!

If we activate this plan today on a new account, are we getting free year of service until 5/31/2019 or for exactly one year?

You'll get it until 5/31/19 so about 13.5 months of service

I got both my numbers from Google voice, made a new Google account for the second number. $3 each, lower than eBay!

You cannot use it in that case since it is not even in the Sprint database. It is probably a prepaid model sold by, and restricted to, one carrier.
I have two phones both are compatible only on Ting but not with Sprint and Tello.

Moto e4
Nexus 5x.

That's fine but I personally prefer paying the extra $2 for instantaneous ports from TMobile (completed in seconds while I am on the phone with Sprint doing the activation) rather than often-slow ones from Google Voice that can get hung up with no recourse other than waiting.

But either way is perfectly viable.
