Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks, I didn't understand the meaning of unlock a GV number until your explanation. I would prefer the first option but if I did the imei check and deal sign up with the GV number, would I k ow have to unlock the gv number/as the only option?

You can change it as per what I just posted but you just have to call 866-782-8777 rather than following the instructions that come with the sim.

Thanks again. A second credit check would not be good. May have to consider unlocking the GV number and just do the regular Sim setup.

I just ported into this plan.

When can I "swap" a Sprint iPhone 7 I bought on eBay?
Is it any time or is it 120 day wait. Is swap the same as an upgrade?

I asked 2 CS reps with my scenario and both said 120 days. Did anyone just buy a sprint phone and do the swap right away? (same day or same week?)

They might be able to access and use the original credit check - you can ask them to try. Sometimes they have not been able to find the original one but I would try it during the daytime

Actually another plan would be stick with the original instructions, and go ahead and click on the link to activate, but NOT unlock the Google Voice number. That way the original port in would fail, they would let you know, and you could tell them to substitute the carrier number. They will not mind at all. I am fairly sure that will work.

You can do it. Do not keep calling though because they make notes in your account. The notes may already present a problem. I fell into that trap at one point.

Just do an IMEI swap starting out on the dashboard or swap in tech chat. Do not ask questions or volunteer info. You are not asking for an upgrade (you do need 120 days for that as you note) , just an IMEI swap.

First check if it shows eligible at
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...hop:030918

If not there is a bypass......

You can also get the T-Moble activation kit here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LPPHHFK/
T-Mobile Prepaid Complete SIM Starter Kit
$8.95 with Prime FREE One-Day
Delivered tomorrow for FREE with qualifying orders over $35.

T-Mobile via Amazon Prime is cheaper and don't have to wait 4-5 days with h2o
So far, that seems to be the cheapest/fastest option for porting out, then back in to Sprint.

I believe after you port the number out of an active T-Mobile SIM, the SIM usually gets "permanently" deactivated.

AFAIK, sprint (and its mvno) is the only carrier (maybe Verizon, not sure) that allows sim to be reused

all other carriers , especially gsm, the sim is 1 time use only

I don't think you would need to load credit. If they ask just tell them you'll get refill card from store later. I ported in two lines without loading any credit

guys... where are you porting out temporarily ... i need to port out and port in again to keep my number in new sprint account with different ssn
The Kentucky Derby is this weekend and you are beating a dead horse. This question asked at least once a week for 10 months.
Either get the T-Mobile sims at Apple store for free and portin/out without funding or pay the $10-13 per line thru T-Mobile, ATT prepaid, or H20 and be done with it.
