Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

thanks for the advice, I will call them again tomorrow!

Sprint Credit Department:
1-800-639-6116
is the direct number and they will usually give you a second set of identity questions, this time based only on your credit report, if that was the problem, even if you were told you could not reapply for 30 days.

It just needs to be approved by a supervisor there.

However if it was based on credit rating they may still decline. But worth a try anyway.

the problem was that the agent couldn't ask any question at all...
after asking my name, DOB, SSN, address, he told me that he would like to ask me some questions based on the public records, then, no more than 1min, he just said there was no question and we could not approve this application...
I guess their system just couldn't come up some identity questions for me, since my SSN is still pretty new, maybe they couldn't match it to my report.

Right well see what they say when you call direct and ask them to refer it to a supervisor if the same thing happens.

Also it might still go through online if you have not tried that.

"It's not you, it's us" is perhaps slightly encouraging. At least, some people who got that ended up approved after calling.

You can get an AT&T prepaid sim card for 99 cents and it takes about 3 business days to get it, so if you order one or more today you'll probably have it/them by Saturday or Monday.
You may have to fund the AT&T Prepaid account with $10 but try it first without. It may work as it does with T-Mobile prepaid without funding. Worst case you may have to pay $10. Get the 25 cents/min plan.
Then you can port out of Sprint to AT&T, and then open another Sprint BYOD Free 1 Year account with a DIFFERENT SS # and then port back to the new free Sprint account from AT&T.
Again, you may need or may not need to fund the AT&T prepaid account to do the in/out portings. Just make sure you have the AT&T prepaid account # and its PIN that you'll create. The account # will probably be the phone # with or without an 1 in front. ASK the AT&T customer service rep for the account # and PIN. Without those you can not port to Sprint.

I've used AT&T pre-paid a couple times and have been able to fund the account with just $1 (it totals $1.75 with tax). Tell them you just want to add a dollar until you get porting taken car of. Also, after you port to AT&T call 611 and have them give you the account number and verify your pin so you have that information when you port back to Sprint. I don't think there is any other way to get the account number.

Can I port in to ATT after funding $1 or do I need to fund $1 first and then port in to ATT.....

You're absolutely right!
Computer systems like 0 and 1. IF one of those is in the wrong sequence you're screwed!
Humans, on the other hand, can use foresight, can bend the rules and more often get things through.
Repeatedly in this thread things work better with the toll free # humans dedicated to this free offer, located in the Philippines than with the online system.
So, CALL, get some human contact with someone who probably really needs the commission or incentive he/she is getting by enrolling you in this free plan.
Consider this a humanitarian effort!!!
You're absolutely right!..as well

I guess this one of the rare cases, where you SHOULD call sprint and speak with a human.

I think it's included. We just did a trip to Mexico and got free texts and free throttled data with $0.20/min voice calls. They sent us a text when we landed that said "Welcome to Mexico" that included that info plus a link to purchase the high-speed data pass (e.g. $10/week). We just made do with the throttled data and it worked great for the most part.
