Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks. It seems the porting is on the right way. It says my old provider authorized the porting. It will take a while.
in my experience..Freedompop authorized it and I called the expediting number, Sprint did it immediately. Otherwise you are waiting for Sprint's scheduling of the completion. The entire process took about 2 hours most of which is time I wasted before calling them.

Anyone having challenges with the Data on the Moto G6 play. I have no data Frown. Turned it off and restarted a few times---not on airplane mode, data is turned on. I can do a factory reset--should I try that? Sprint activated the phone last night

Search this thread for: carrier reset

For the Moto phones it should be: *#*#72786#*#*

You can try reset carrier settings(*#*#72786#*#*) then try updating profile and prl. Should be under settings something like cellular networks, carrier settings, update device config. Maybe under something different on G6 play.

Thanks Well you and HunterOne gave the same code but when I put that in--it clears screen and does nothing. Like it's too many or something.

I want to try and get this fixed without having to get Sprint involved just because of flags on it being a Boost phone

If you have 2 free byod plans, different account names of course, will you be able to swap phones/phone numbers between them?

Are you getting no data at all or no lte data. The sim card and apn settings usually control LTE, while 1x or 3g data is controlled by cdma. Try the update profile, prl if you can find in settings, but not sure how well it will work if you have no data. There should also be a reset network settings under backup and reset you could also try( but would lose wifi settings I believe).

Did you do a Profile Update in the settings menu -> system -> system update -> Update Profile.
You may also try Update PRL.

After the carrier reset that you previously tried above, the phone should reboot/restart.

Not sure if Boost Mobile has its own carrier reset code for its phones. Even if it does not sure it's a good idea to try it now that this phone is on Sprint Postpaid.
I know Virgin Mobile phones have their own code: ##VIRGIN#

My Dashboard reads this -----Motorola G6 Play now so no more unknown device for me and it's probably the same with the rest of you.
