Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

So I have an older Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon that says it's not eligible. I wanted a new line for a possible new business. On my Verizon line I have an iPhone 6s. Can I put my SIM card from my iPhone 6s to my old Galaxy S5 and then "activate" the new Sprint line with my iPhone 6s? And then when everything is completed, can I switch the sims back and have the Galaxy S5 as my free sprint line?

Basically if I use my iPhone 6s to "activate" the line, can I swap any phone after the fact?

To anyone reading this: Use the number in this thread, not the number on the site!!!! I got stuck in hell dealing with like 5+ different reps and even their supervisors to sort my account after the main sales department set it up entirely freaking wrong. Huge pain in the butt, and i'm going to call back today to confirm the change even went through

nope, it goes by IMEI of the phone itself. You might have to flash the S5 to the "sprint" version and maybe even swap the IMEI on it(which is easy as hell on older phones like that

Ported three numbers away to tmobile and back with no problems. Little time consuming though.

Interesting--looks like Moto G5+ might not support wifi calling but the Moto G6Play does support it. I made a call on it tonight. Not sure that the MotoG5+ unlocked would support wifi calling on any other networks. I skimmed through some reviews and there were challenges but those reviews were from last year.

Verizon prepaid iphone se do not come unlocked, needs $150 of prepaid payments before can be unlocked according to this.

The telephone # for this free BYOD offer is the SAME in the beginning of the Wiki of this thread AND on the Sprint BYOD web site: Call to order 1-866-782-8777.

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...phone=byod

One should NEVER call the Sprint main sales # or ever go to a Sprint store inquiring about this BYOD free offer. ONLY the BYOD dept. can do this offer and it can ONLY be contacted at the above tel #: 1-866-782-8777.
You're asking for trouble contacting any one else/any other dept/store.

The Sprint BYOD free year plan dept. at the above tel # is open M-F 6am-11pm, and Sat/Sun 7am-11pm CDT.

Sprint won't whitelist a Verizon S5. Don't commit fraud by changing Imei as other poster suggested.

For all newcomers who are just discovering this thread keep in mind that chances are a question you may have has been answered and dissected dozens if not hundreds of times in this thread:

A polite suggestion:
SEARCH FIRST and read the thread WIKI before you ask any questions here.
You don't have to read the entire thread, just search first using INTELLIGENT and pointed terms, Do not do a shotgun search!

A lot of the "experts" here who have been helping everyone for almost a year now have either moved on or will do so soon.
So, it's very important, and to your benefit, to do your homework first before asking others for help here, since chances are you'll find the answer a lot faster.

Also, don't forget that the polite thing here, if someone helps you or posts something helpful is to give a rep!

No they check the new IMEI when you swap as well.
