Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks. so it took more than 24 hours ? i submitted request through phone support for Moto G6 Play and LG G6. it's been 14 hours but no luck yet. chat rep gave me unlock code for LG G6 but don't know where to enter it.
Most likely that is not the unlock you want at all. It may be the MSL code which is needed to "unlock" access to certain phone functions.

You have to talk to a special department called Account Services (not the same thing as Customer Service by the way) to get a phone unlocked properly or discussed knowledgably.

$3 charge on TMobile in addition to the $3 Sim. Register directly online. During check out, you get to select your own pin. Once you check out, they will give you an account number on your receipt.
how long did you wait after you port out to port back in ? did you to use same SSN for credit check?

seems like it is MSL code. i tried ##3282# and for service code entry it's accepting this but i don't see any place for unlock code entry. after that i called account services and put in a request. no luck yet.

Is this available for online ordering or only in-store? I can't find it on their site.

In store only.
But every store has received only 2.
So you may have to rush.

I finally did some troubleshooting with sprint over the slow data - they were able to send out some carrier provisioning resets, I reset the profile and the prl update. Things seemed better in that I could consistently browse the web, but the speeds don't seem as good. I'll have to see as I move around how the data service is. The main problem seems to be upload connections, but at this point, the speed test is showing around 7 mbps down and 1.2 up.

I did run the signalcheck lite but I don't know how to interpret.

I have two questions. I currently have a Virgin mobile 1 year free (iPhone SE). As a Sprint MNVO this is ineligible so I want to port out to T-Mobile/Verizon and then port back to Sprint to get another year.

1. Will this result in the 45 day SSN hold (that can be bypassed by using someone else's details - like my wife)? I think no since it isn't technically Sprint.

2. Is there any way to get that iPhone SE from Virgin to pass IMEID? If it is unlocked? If I sim swap it onto a different BYOD line? I think on this one the answer is no and I just have to get a new phone.

So if you don't have a different SSN to use, you cannot get another free year?

umm... yeah you can. As has been said a hundred times or so. Just need to wait 45 days after cancelling your current plan. In other words, port out to another service for about two months (metroPCS two months free?) and open a new free line by porting back in before the end of July.
