Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Can you use digital SIM activation(off of ebay mentioned in wiki) multiple times to transfer existing 3 lines to t-mobile and then back to Sprint?
Quote from klutch14u :
As soon as you port off the account tied to that SIM number it's dead, forever
Some say they reused it:

"You can reuse the t-mobile sim card despite what is being said. (I ported 3 lines using the same sim card, however if you want to do all of them at the same time, you need 3 sim cards)"

Could anyone provide a brief, high level overview of the easiest path for a new customer switching 2 lines from Cricket Wireless?

Is it still better to call? Any phone deals that work directly out of the box?

Thanks in advance

You must call to setup your new Sprint BYOD Free Unlimited plan. They will do a hard credit check and then tell you how many lines you are approved for.

Regarding eligible phones, I recently discovered you can activate the new Boost Motorola G6 Play phone found at Walmart. It is $79 and it has 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage. I've purchased three of them and like them. If you decide to go this route, tell them it is a Sprint Motorola phone and don't mention it is a Boost phone. If you prefer a different phone, check the list at the beginning of this forum.

Maybe you can reuse it if you don't put the sim into a phone, so it never ties to IMEI???

Good thinking - that could be the case.
Maybe FriedC can comment further if he sees this.

Maybe. What they actually do is take both sides of the market. They sell porting in the number, but they won't let you port it out. They also then sell porting out the number, but you don't get to choose the number. So they don't even need to pay to acquire DID numbers or park them. Whoever came up with that is ingenious.

Once you buy a virtual Tmobile SIM card off Ebay and do port out to Tmobile and port in back to Sprint, can you use the same Tmobile SIM card number to do the same trick with another old Sprint line?

That's what we just discussed. Some say yes, some say no.

The first number I ported, I put the sim into the device. Used the same sim again without putting the sim into the device for lines 2, 3, 4. Someone linked something about t-mobile allowing this to work for 30-45 days after the first activation.

I imagine that's how the electronic sims on ebay are making a profit without needing to send you the physical sim.

Well I'll be a monkey's Uncle. After over 20 device swaps in the year I've been on Sprint I have yet to complete one without contacting a CSR. Until now that is... Just did a swap through my sprint.com on an Android phone. Went through without any Hang-Ups. No chat. No human interaction. I feel like I'm a minor Lotto winner

The free case that come with Boost G6 Play doesn't really fit the phone. The case doesn't provide enough cover for the phone's screen. Bad design.

Was the phone previously on that line? I am usually able to swap if the phone was previously on the line.
