Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks. So I guess I should be looking for an non-Sprint phone to pick up.
Well the Sprint models are actually often the most attractively priced and have the best feature match with the Sprint network, so many people do look for them, but I am just saying that if you want to be able to use your simple test of entering the IMEI and seeing it qualify right away with no effort, then most of them will appear not to qualify by that test, whereas they actually would qualify by using other tests which are more complicated and involve running IMEI tests on Sprint MVNO's and interpreting the results and device history, and later getting the flag flipped so they do qualify, which is what I do.

You do also find Sprint phones that will qualify right off. The history in this case will be that the seller is a Sprint subscriber and has been using the phone only on Sprint postpaid, not on an mvno. So you can look for those but there may be fewer of them.

You can also get universal unbranded phones but typically these will not support wifi calling and Visual VoiceMail on Sprint. A few do.

So there are lots of considerations.

I think others may have more concrete suggestions.

Anyone have a BLU S1 with this deal? I have mine activated with BYOD sprint deal. Internet is slow with chrome browser and sometimes pages doesn't even load for ex: giftcardwiki . com. I would get a the site cannot be reached ERR_TIMED_OUT. Is it the phone or sprint service? I've tried clearing cache etc within chrome still no go.

I've tried firefox browser as well. Same problem

Anyone have suggestions i can try? Is this an issue like the Moto E4/G5S IPv4 apps?

Successfully activated both my G6's last night on my BYOD plan. 1st one was a snap (I did them separately). The second one she initially said that it wasn't going to work because it appeared to be a post paid phone and I should go to a corporate store. I pushed back a bit and she "tried it again" and it magically worked. I did both over chat. Thanks to all that helped me renew my BYOD and get the G6's working. Hopefully this is still working next year Smilie

Ported in my number last week and everything is going good except that the G6 Play doesn't really for me. Is the IMEI all I need to check on before I buy a phone off CL to make sure it works on the plan?
If the imei passes the right online checker it will almost certainly be ok in my experience. You need to use this one..

https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...phone.html

I would also stick to used phones that were used only on Sprint post-paid, if you can determine that from your seller. I've bought Sprint version LG G4, LG G5, and LG V20 and all have worked for this deal.

btw, I have 2 more than I need so if you happen to live in Knoxville, TN, send me a pm. Wink

That's all fine. What is your question?

I would suggest just start into it and if you have a problem, post.

I would suggest do one at a time.
How to do one at a time, when I have only one Account number and one pin? Is that possible that's what I'm confused lol sorry
Thanks for helping

T-mobile seems to be frequently used and it's who I used. Don't know about the video quality, is that plan specific? It's a full blown standard unlimited account. Call the number and ask as an interested customer.

One account number and one pin for the whole account is normal and not a problem at all as I said before.

You just specify which phone number you are porting out.

TMobile prepaid is most popular but please read last few days of posts for lots of examples. To do everything over in Q&A format for every new poster is not optimal. There are long discussions and checklists in recent posts.

Calls to Canada are not free on this plan but there is a low-cost monthly Canada add-on ($5):
Mexico-Canada Plus
Unlimited calls and texts while on the Sprint network from the US to Mexico and Canada, with unlimited messaging from the US to more than 180 countries while on the Sprint network. Plus, discounted calling rates from the US to other countries.

Without the add-on, it is 20 cents a minute (ouch!).

HD streaming:
Video at speeds up to 1080p
Music at up to 1.5mbps
Gaming streams at up to 8mbps
Unlimited 4G LTE data for most everything else. Data deprioritization applies during congestion.

See the Sprint Page for this offer for more details.

Hi, need some help here. I am trying to find out which Boost SIM will work with iPhone 6s plus unlocked out of SIMOLW416Q + SIMOLW506C + SIMOLW506TQ?

Also, if I get a boost G6 play, will I be using the phone number which comes along with the device after activating it on sprint (if successful!)? Do i need to buy a separate sprint SIM for this to work? Also, should i unlock it first before porting it to sprint?

Last question, is if I buy iPhone SE from boost, can i port it to sprint without activating it on boost?

Thanks!

I did mine online but I'd call if I were you. You'll need the account number which I don't think they give you online for pay as you go and it's no longer your 10 digit phone number.

Edit: At first I was irritated with seller because the backs we're discolored and I assumed they were store demos. After some cleanup they are A OK
still liking the orbic wonder?

considering to get 2 from same seller ..they are $60 each with todays ebay coupon
