I was able to sign up with my Moto X Pure and a Google Voice number. I already have T-Mobile and I plan on using both services. Is there anything wrong with doing that? Will I need a active phone number to port? I'm waiting for my sim now in the mail.
Seems I should be able to port a Google Voice number by first unlocking it, sweet!

To unlock a Google Voice number follow this guide from Google themselves https://support.google.com/voice/...67#xferout

I should add that this only cost $3 to unlock.

Thanks. Darn-- I'll have to port out to another carrier then and hope this is still around in 45 days. Anyone have suggestions on a cheap unlimited plan for 4+ lines that I can use for a couple of months?

I'm sure this has been answered in the 20k+ posts but would appreciate quick help. Currently have the old BYOD free year from last summer about to expire. Are people able to port out / back in for another free year and if so what's the quickest / easiest way? Only have one line. Thanks!
out of the 20,000 posts 19,700 are people asking the same thing over and over. You literally could look on almost any page in the last 500 and see your question and answer.

Actually no, because I was part of the first 10k posts when this came out last year helping people get referrals and the original setup going. I'm sure you knew that thought since you read them all. The wiki doesn't mention anything about using same phone/Sim, at least not that I found in the t-mobile port area. Either way thanks for the help...

You still need to be a new Sprint customer or have prior service at least 45 days ago to be eligible - service history is tied to your SSN. Folks "renewing" in this thread are using their spouse/relative/friend/stolen SSN number for "re-eligibility".

Sprint listed expiry date as June 30 in an automated message/ad yesterday posted here.
It might or might not be reoffered in July.
However they are introducing a new promo today for $15 a month with no one-year expiry once you're on it so you win either way. The new one may be the better deal anyway because it does not expire in a year..

your question on porting out f sprint and back into sprint is

literally like the 5th line of the wiki

i know

i placed it there

yet u made it sound like u had to go digging for in near the bottom of the wiki

it is possible your question on sim is NOT in wiki

but guess what...anyone can update wiki..

even u can
