Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I have purchased the Boost Mobile G6 play from Walmart.

My son's unlocked Moto E4 has stopped working. Judging from some of the reports I can just activate the Boost G6 using the SIM that it comes with as a new line of service on the BYOD plans. Can I then swap the numbers on Sprint and then delete the added line? Or is there an easier way to replace the E4 with the G6 play?

Is the non-working e4 the current device on a line ? If it is you can just swap it with a working compatible Sprint device on the Mysprint webpage under "more" then "activate/swap".

You can try doing it yourself there but if any trouble chat with them from there. Whether or not the Boost G6 play will work I don't know.

Wanted to activate an old Moto E4 on this plan for my daughter, but the IMEI check
still returned the "Sorry, but this device can't be activated with Sprint service..." error
(interestingly, after running the IMEI check, the browser tab title reads "success" LOL).

I did have this device on Ring+ back in the day, so I suspect a device-IMEI-related issue
specific to Ring+, but I can't seem to find the post in this thread that detailed the solution.

Would someone mind linking that post to me?

Thanks,

EBL

That would in all likelihood be a Sprint Prepaid phone which cannot be activated on Sprint postpaid.

Search item number 173247016698 on ebay. The guy will message you a sim number almost instantly. Check the sim card number here [t-mobile.com]. The first one he sent me wasn't valid, he sent me another number that worked. As someone mentioned above, you don't actually need the physical sim card to port into T-mobile. Again, as someone mentioned, after you've ported out to T-mobile, check your phone's imei number on sprint here [sprint.com]. When the sprint site says the device is eligible, call the sprint number from the wik
Once I get sim T-mobile sim card number, i should be able to get a new number with them right?. What is the cheapest way to get sprint sim card compatible for unlocked g5 plus.

I think I'm going for another free year. Kickstart will be at least $360 for my wife and me. I figure in a year from now I may be able to get a plan around the same value so I'll save the $360 up front.
Just wondering the same thing. The free year plan obviously is a better deal for the short term, but the $15 unlimited plan may stay grandfathered in for the next decade...

I went to buy SIM card to activate at spring store and i called spring to activate.
They just told me that i need to obtain SIM card from ONLINE to get this deal. is this true?

I am using virgin mobile, so i need to port out and port in, and then i have to order SIM from online ( i need to be eligible to order(buy) SIM card), so do i have to wait one day without any services to get SIM card and activate?

You don't have to order Sim Card online. I purchased mine from Twigby and it took a few days to get her. People have been purchasing from Best Buy etc. Depends on what phone you have.

I would try and purchase from Best Buy if you need the phone working right away or if an I phone you can get it from Apple store.

Read Wiki on sim cards and make sure you have the correct sim card---from what others have said Sprint Stores don't always give you the correct Sim Cards for your phone and it's usually not free. Not sure if you purchased yours at the store yet.

You will need to port to T Mobile and back to Sprint as you mentioned.
