Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You will need Sprint account number, phone number, and Sprint PIN code
You will also need TMO SIM #, phone's IMEI #, and the system asked me for the TMO SIM Activation code (in my case was an 11 digit # that came with the SIM starter kit)

Call 1-877-778-2107 and it will walk you through it, even asking if you are porting a number. When asked about plan, select the pay as you go plan.

Once all done, you'll then transfer back to Sprint by calling the number in the wiki (also displayed on Sprint promo page).
You'll need:
phone number
TMO account number (which is 1+phone number)
TMO PIN code
a different SSN, that person's DOB, address, etc.
phone's IMEI #
Sprint SIM card #

Worth noting: From the experience of myself and others, Sprint's people aren't familiar with TMO's account # setup for their pay as you go phones and will try to do the port using only the phone number as the account number, rather than adding a 1 in front of it (e.g. if phone number is 3035551234, account number would be 13035551234). So, if the report back that there's trouble with the port, double check that they entered a 1 at front of it.

If using an android phone, after the port back to Sprint, even though you're using the same SIM and same phone, you will need to go into (note: exact tree may vary depending on phone) settings/more/wireless & networks/cellular networks/carrier settings and select Update Device Config

edit to add: if owner of alternate SSN did a credit agency freeze (due to the credit agency hack last year), you will need to first temporarily thaw at each agency before contacting Sprint because they will do a hard pull on the credit and may also ask some follow up questions to verify that you are indeed the person the 2nd SSN is associated with (for me they asked county live in, most common area code, and age of child)

Doing this from my recollection of my experience; hopefully I didn't miss anything.
Got tmobile number (account number) and pin. Where do i find out when it is ready for porting to sprint. I also gave dob to tmobile. Do i need to give same DOB to sprint while porting.

You bought a working tmo phone number and you have it's account and pin number? Then you should be ready to port. Try calling that number. If it rings, you're good.

I got digital sim number from ebay. Called tmobile to setup new number and pin. DOB is the only personal information, they asked me.

Tmobile lady told me to wait 2-4 hours to complete account setup on their system.

I'm trying to understand how to be on this free plan. I have 2 lines on Sprint on one account and I am trying to get both lines on to the free plan. So as I understand I need to buy a tmobile sim number from Ebay then call Tmobile and give them the number and tell them I'm going to port over the line?

If that goes through then I can port out the same day by calling Sprint and telling them I want to be on the free plan?

Can someone go to your Sprint account to check their Data Roaming?
Confirm if it's working.

It appears you read it correctly:

"Upgrades for the lines activated on the Free Unlimited plan will be allowed after 4 months of service. At that time, return to sprint.com and log in to your account to purchase/lease your new phone. When it arrives, visit www.sprint.com/activate [sprint.com] to activate the new phone. Any upgrades prior to the 4 months or in a retail location will require a plan change to the Unlimited data, talk and text plan which starts at $60 per month after an AutoPay discount. Unfortunately, you'll lose the remaining free months in your year of free service if you upgrade early or purchase/lease your new phone in a retail location."
Looking at this again, it could arguably be read to mean that if you activate your new phone online, rather than at a Sprint store, you don't lose your remaining free months even if you didn't purchase from Sprint. It is unclear if sprint.com/activate is tied into your previous purchase from sprint.com, nor is it clear if you need a new sim if you have a new phone.

go on Ebay and type "Sprint LG V20" in the search box. Or "Sprint LG G5".

I don't get why you want "unlocked", you don't need to unlock a Sprint phone to use it with Sprint.

btw, I bought both of these and an LG G4 this way, they are all great phones.
My free LG G4 from 2 years ago died on me..It starts up after a few hours (just hangs with the LG Life's Good and stays like that for hours, suddenly powers on and the moment I try to transfer my files over to my computer it goes back to the Life's Good screen. I really need to transfer my data and get rid of this phone..It was good while it lasted but a poor life..It started heating up and not retaining power for 2 months and now this..I guess its time to get a new phone..
