Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

When you sign up, they will pull your credit. Then they will tell you how many lines. Why people keep asking same thing.

There is no reason to be condescending. Either help the person or just shut it.

More than 1 person can be on the free plan? What is the limit of lines one can have for free on one account?
5 lines if your credit is satisfactory.

My 1 year of free everything with this deal is ending soon.

Does anyone have any way to get it for another year?

I was thinking have a family member sign up for it, then add me to it. But, I have to keep my phone number.

I would also like to keep my same phone.

But, would change the phone if necessary.

Does anyone have a way I can do it?

this is all about helping each other, sure, ...but u need to "get familiar with the deal at hand" or else, the same questions get asked over and over, making it hard to assemble new relevant information.

especially since "those of us that have helped" have already assembled those questions in the wiki

take for example below question

come on

its right there in wiki

i know

i put it there

so to summarize:

read the wiki

I am going to add an LG V20. The wiki mentions a specific SIM to get from Best Buy. Is there some reason I can't just use any old Sprint SIM? For example, I see $2.99 Sprint SIM cards on Amazon.

Also, my local Sprint store said they will give you free SIM cards if you have a plan. I'm guessing he meant that's only if I sign up for a new plan. Anyone know if I could walk into a Sprint store and say "I have the BYOD free year plan, but I lost my SIM card," would they give me a free one?

Any tips on getting SIM cars for less than $10 (plus tax) would be great.

If the Wiki mentions a specific SIM card number tied to a phone model, it means that other SIM cards likely will not work. Not worth it to try.

You can buy the SIMGLW416Q for $2.99 plus tax from https://www.twigby.com/shop/twigb...s/simcards or $10 from BB

This is likely a dumb question...

When I went to check out on Twigby, it said the SIM is model SIMGLW416Q, but the wiki says you need model SIMOLW416Q.

Do you have any idea if the wiki just has a typo?

Edit: I found the Boost mobile SIM kit on Best Buy, and when you zoom in on the packaging, it says O instead of G. Either Twigby has a typo, or they're different SIM cards. I guess I just have to pay $10?

For someone looking to get a phone for this are there any recommended phones (I see the list but don't know much about most of them) or phone deals. Don't want to go past $200-300. Thanks in advance.

They will both work that letter just identifies manufacturer of SIM card. Oberthur, Gemalto. If you buy from twigby use promo code woutfreesim to make it free. Also can get 416Q card from Apple store(if close by) but must state you need for iphone 8 or X.

Sweet! Unfortunately, there are no Apple Stores nearby. Twigby it is, unless someone can confirm whether I could get the card in the Sprint store without messing up my BYOD plan.

always worth a try

let them know u are a current customer, ad jsut need a sim

dont give them any other info other than a phone number.
be polite, courteous, etc
do not let them mess around w ur plan

if they ask for anything else, simply walk away

always worth a try

I'll probably try just to report back.

FYI, that woutfreesim code on Twigby not only made 3 SIM cards cost $0.00, it also charged me $0.00 for the "expedited" shipping that's normally $12.00. We'll see if they actually honor it.
