Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Here's the "fee" breakdown, so not quite free, but almost...
To take advantage of these great savings and have your phone work on the Sprint network, we'll send you a Sprint SIM card for each eligible phone.

Your next steps:

You'll set up your account and pay $2.99 per SIM card, plus taxes and $10 for overnight shipping
You'll also agree to automatically pay monthly taxes and fees (including a $1.99/mo./line admin fee)
On your bill, you will see a plan charge of $5/mo. and a -$5/mo. credit for AutoPay
We'll send the SIM(s), tell you how to activate it, and switch your number to Sprint
Activate your SIM and get 1 year FREE Unlimited talk, text and data on the Sprint Unlimited – Bring Your Own Phone plan
Sounds good, still need to find a cheap phone that will work for this

nobody has confirmed it yet.
Don't think any confirmation would help. A few have gotten unlocked prior to 50 days being a customer for a while. Sprint could always decide to not unlock boost Play 6's anymore even after some people get unlocked after 50 days.

If you are asking about this specific phone model, then it has not been 50 days yet. That it has a 50 day unlock policy is well known. And I was told this over the phone yesterday while they were troubleshooting my signal issues, so first hand information from tech support who work for sprint. Now they may be misinformed or lying or who cares.

No one has denied it either? What's your point?

Sorry if it was answered. Searched but couldnt find.

I have a line that has iphone 6s plus. I would like to switch to an unlocked iphone x that I bought on cl and also made sure sprint accepts it on byod test using imei.

Now when i switch it in the account (activate device) it is not allowing me to reuse the sprint sim number that i currently use with iphone 6s plus. Should i get a new sim or can I call sprint csr and let them do it?

Pls check the coverage before initiating port in at your home & work space especially. I checked only for home area & was showing good coverage.. Switched this weekend, only to realize no n/w coverage inside the work space building. FacepalmTechnical team guided to Magic Box team which is actually a booster, they are ready to provide it free of charge but back ordered until Jul 28. Messed Up Not sure now might have to move to different carrier or back to earlier one. Oops

I did on Sunday, started about mid-day. Re-ported 3 lines from Tmo on a new byod acct. I need to do a phone swap to free up one of the phones and do one more re-port.

I think you are saying that they are not allowing anyone to setup a new byod acct, correct? Wonder if this would affect me porting over that last line...

Oh if the port in already underway (sorry I did not understand that from your post) do not call TeleSales at all.

Some TeleSales reps care only about sales and make up excuses to get rid of you if any problem comes up. The excuses are random and mean nothing.
First set up your account if you have the info already and sign on and go to https://shop2.sprint.com/en/wlnp/check.shtml

Also call Porting Dept directly at 866-437-1818

Do not do it now though- it is too late to reach the best staff.

It is better to do it tomorrow.

Unfortunately from what you say it is possible that the number is issued by an obscure local carrier used by Google in your area that Sprint cannot route to. (Some routing goes via the location of the *original* carrier that originally issued the number, even after the number is ported elsewhere). If this does end up to be the case, they will probably offer you another number since you did try.
It won't let me sign up at that URL. It says my # and ESN are both invalid.

I called 866-437-1818 and every time the automated system asks what # I want to port, it says "I didn't get that", says will get me someone to speak with. Anyway, I finally spoke with someone who said my # won't work since there's not enough coverage. And they asked sales who told them I can't get the promo without porting a #.

So I guess I need to get another # and pay another $3?
Thing is, GV doesn't offer many #'s to pick from. Right now, for my area code, they only show 1 other # available that isn't in the same city as the first one I picked. And none are in my city.

You will have to try a TMobile Prepaid number then. If you read the thread or the Wiki you can do that for a similar price.

Maybe Google will give you the $3 back since you cannot port out the number. I would not count on it but it could be worth a try.

You can check numbers in the Sprint eligibility checker or at
https://www.sprint.com/en/support...print.html but this probably requires they already be active, as pointed out by desi_babu_2010 .

To save yourself aggravation, if you have not cancelled your existing port, do not do so. Instead, replace it with the new number once you have it so that you do not have to apply from scratch.

Thanks a lot.
So from the wiki, I just need a T-mobile ICCID to give T-mobile when I call requesting PAYGO, but say I'll buy refill cards on my own. That about it?
How will I know when I can port from TMO?
