Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Do you mean no cost at all or just no cost for a new #? What about the $3 for the plan?

"PAY AS YOU GO
Talk & text starting at just $3/month."

Sorry. Dont know if u got a reply. But no cost at all even for the plan since its pay as u go, u can put money on anytime

But I don't know how to access IMEI. After turning on it asks for the sim card to continue, how to bypass it? It's an iPhone and not so easy to remove the battery.
Dail *#06# will give u IMEI #

That is interesting. I recall when i swapped the iP4s on the first byod, i gave them sim # to do the swap. At that time the iP4s was previous on sprint but hadnt been used in awhile but swap happened easily. I attributed the difficulties this time to having ported it to Tmo. I was heading to try and get a new sim for iP4s so you think that will be fruitless? I do recall the agent confirming with me that LTE will not work as it is not LTE phone.
Yes it is totally unused except maybe as a good luck charm / random change.

If you can't get it working after a day you can ask them to reprovision it but I would not rush because sometimes these things solve themselves anyway. It may have the old settings still in it and need to have them reset. Other people know iPhones better than I do.

I'll play around with it and wait to call back but if others know iP4s would be great to hear input

Definitely. Many people add one line at a time, including me (or many at a time of course). You have to port in a number each time,

Do Not count on Sprint's roaming.

The roaming config is set such that your phone will hold on to the weakest Sprint 1x signal even if there is a full bar prefect T-Mobile LTE data.
any workaround?

By the way I checked and the sim is only used for international roaming.

You need to root your phone. Then install the app that block a certain Sprint band. So it won't connect to the crappy Sprint 1x signal.
Sprint doesn't want you to do that because they have to pay for roaming charge.
It goes like this: 1X/2G/3G/LTE.

Just to clarify - you can port more than one number at a time. So tomorrow if you have 3 more lines to port, you can do all three with one rep and so on.

No, it said Sim Card Required to use my iPhone 6 Plus. Turned it on and after "Hello" it's just sitting on screen "Sim Card Required" with no way to by pass that step.
