Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yes it is totally unused except maybe as a good luck charm / random change.

If you can't get it working after a day you can ask them to reprovision it but I would not rush because sometimes these things solve themselves anyway. It may have the old settings still in it and need to have them reset. Other people know iPhones better than I do.
Got the iP4s working - comintel is a genius!

Earlier ##UPDATE# was failing then when I had more time to mess with it, I turned on wifi and did update and it was successful. Not 100% sure if that did it as I was messing with other cellular settings but all phones on my new byod are back to where they were!

I have an old iPhone 6 Plus with no sim how to check the serial #? I want to port a number from Google Voice into this free plan.
Quote from DKTVPN :
No, it said Sim Card Required to use my iPhone 6 Plus. Turned it on and after "Hello" it's just sitting on screen "Sim Card Required" with no way to by pass that step.
Maybe I'm missing something and not sure of your entire situation, but could you not just go get a Sprint or whatever sim to get past that screen (you will need a Sprint sim anyway for activation)? I have iP6+ on my plan and that's exactly what I needed to do.

Has anyone tried using their child's ss # to create a new plan? I'm talking a toddler here.

Imei is on the lower back of phone on iPhone 6 Plus. You may need magnifying glasses if poor vision.
Edit It looks like you obtained it through other channels.

Wow, it's there. I've never though it's outside the case. Thanks for the info! Repped.

Yes, I accessed it thru my Sprint account because it was original from Sprint for my secondary # and I didn't delete it in my account.

You need to root your phone. Then install the app that block a certain Sprint band. So it won't connect to the crappy Sprint 1x signal.
Sprint doesn't want you to do that because they have to pay for roaming charge.
It goes like this: 1X/2G/3G/LTE.
Is sprint the only provider that does this? Do you know if tmobile or att or verizon does the same thing

Unfortunately you can't. Per the Sprint's T&C the account holder has to be 18+ years old

I have an old refurbished iPhone SE I bought on eBay over a year ago that I've been using as a glorified iPod. Sprint hasn't been able to get it activated even after trying 2 different sim cards. I finally figured out that the phone is sim locked to Straight Talk. Am I SOL with this phone?

If so, anyone know of a super cheap Sprint compatible phone I can use to keep the line alive so Sprint doesn't cancel my service?

I see iPad Mini 4 now listed as eligible device, is that mean it can also be in free plan and not $10 per month?

And when calling, watch for the "device protection" $13/month thing. I called twice, 1st rep set me up easy peasy without the DP thing. 2nd rep put it on there, and would not take it off. He said I can take it off myself by logging in. 2nd rep said it is prorated by the day, so the difference is a few pennies.
During my call, I specifically declined the device protection on two phones, but he added it without telling me. As soon as the first bill generated, I chatted to remove it. The first person told me the bill would readjust before the auto-pay. A week later, when there was no change, I chatted again, and the second person told me she would issue a $10 credit and the rest would be credited on the second bill. Another week has gone by, and still no difference in the amount owed. I can see the insurance has been removed, but still no change in the bill that will be charged to my credit card next week. Anyone had success in having a bill adjusted prior to paying?

No it is not on the real list. You are looking at a list posted a long time ago erroneously on Sprint's ste, long since corrected there but not here.
