The high volume of posts in this thread has NOTHING to do with the complexity of the deal. It is due to two things:

1) The general laziness and short attention span of the American consumer who can't be bothered to read more that 50 words deep into the OP, let alone the wiki and

2) People who reward the people in the first group by spoon feeding them answers in the wiki.

This deal is available to almost anyone, and it's fairly straightforward. Especially so with the help in this thread and wiki.
That doesn't mean rude posters with childish attitudes are entitled to it.
The " Sprint Sucks" Mantra is tiresome and inaccurate.
A little Grace and a small amount of effort is well worth the reward for those interested.
Xoxo Sprint.
No. I don't work there either
awesome summary

Maybe 4 or 5 people total, scattered over time, have posted they were able to. Maybe a few more. Trying to look for a possible common factor, in some of the cases those people were bringing a lot of lines and/or high end phones. That might not be the reason but I have noticed it does seem to make an impression on reps. It also seems to affect reps as to whether they will allow on certain phones.

However, in most cases, people were turned down outright even at day 44, and told to wait for day 45.

Mechanically, I know what has to be done internally. They have to ask the Credit Department to remove your SSN from the old account manually. Then the new account will just go through. That will happen automatically at 45 days. But if somebody in Sprint really wants to do it, they can just request it be done early. I think it mostly turns just on the bother and mechanics of bothering people within Sprint to do the manual procedure rather than anything profound. Sales always has a lot of clout in any company, and probably if you get the right rep he will just push it through aggressively. Other reps seem very religious about the 45 days. Probably LOTS of opportunity for social engineering for those who are good at that.

I agree completely on the importance of checking you end up on the Free plan, especially in cases like this.

Thank you. I cannot see this feature in my account for this connection. But I can see it in my 1st connection. Error is in my second line. I contacted sprint again, they said wait for 1 more day.
I don't believe it's available on the free plan?

All on the same phone model and branding?

Obviously Sprint does not support it or show it on models that it does not support for Wifi Calling.

For Sprint branded models, i have never had trouble with it.

For non-Sprint models, it is often not supported but they may be able to configure it manually in some cases.

wifi calling is on 1 of the moto g6 play, I believe wifi calling is available on all of the phones

iPhone X - no
iPhone SE - no
Moto G6 play Boost - yes
Moto G6 play Boost - no
Moto z2 - no

Perhaps only a Sprint rep can change this since I cannot online under change services and permissions

Boost Moto G6 play is Sprint-Boost branded so it supports Sprint Wifi Calling fully.

Wifi Calling is not standardized across carriers so it will not work on Sprint on most non-Sprint branded Android phones, even if it may work on other carriers. This includes the majority of non-Boost Moto phones. That is why the Boost Moto models are vastly superior for use on Sprint to non-Boost branded Mioto phones.

So the problem with Wifi Calling is with the unlocked Verizon iPhones or are there Wifi Calling problems with some of the Boost phones too?

It is possible this could be a gotcha because Sprint may have provisioned some of the Motos as non-Sprint/Boost models that lack Wifi Calling (since it assumed that is what you had). Hopefully they can just adjust the provisioning on request.

I assume you used the sim that came with the phone in the Boost Motos.
