How do I search this thread? In the past I was able to search thread within slickdeals. I don't see that option.

I wanted to know if I would be able to pay for hotspot and add it when needed?

Thanks!!
You have to switch to classic or full view located at the bottom of every page.

Maybe someone who has signed up recently can tell you if the hotspot can be added. I don't believe it can.

When trying to port out to T-Mobile prepaid it is asking for activation code. Bought digital SIM card from eBay which doesn't have activation code. How to proceed without this? Thx

I chatted with the sprint and they said that if I get the deal and want to add more lines I should add the extra lines before the promotion ends to have all of the lines free.
From what I read here though, it is not necessary the case. It seems I can secure the deal with my number, and any time later I can add extra lines (up to 4) any tim and still have all of them free.
Is my understanding correct?
It would be dumb for sprint to limit this promo to just one line.. Even if it's free/discounted, they would get money from multiple lines though fees.

my iphone 8 says it doesn't pass the FED test, according to swappa and ting. does that mean once i call to activate the phone, they'll deny it? when i entered the imei number through the sprint website (with a phone number) it didn't say anything about phone not being eligible or under financial obligation or anything... do they do the FED test then, or only when actually trying to activate the phone. anyone had similar issue and had it work? not work? thanks!
Just call the 8777 number and ask them to try it. You do not have to be ready to sign up. They will check it for you right now.
TMO and AT&T versions have the wrong chip and can never work.

What do you mean: "when i entered the imei number through the sprint website (with a phone number) it didn't say anything about phone not being eligible or under financial obligation or anything" ? Did it say it was eligible or not?

If you're saying the online checker passes it, then it should be ok. Another Sprint checker without the phone number check is https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...phone.html What does it say?

Hi everyone I want to know if I can bring my axon 7 over to sprint with this I know its not listed but my phone also isn't listed with verzion but I was still able to use my phone on verizon. My phone includes all the bands so would it work. also how do you get past the your phone isn't eligible part.
Even if it were whitelisted, which they will never do, it would not work. It is more than just bands. There has to be a Sprint-written software agent installed on the phone to complete activation. There is no such agent available for this phone.

If you don't want to wait, you can get a number for porting from ebay or numberbarn.

Are you doing it through this website and entering your imei and sim number? https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prep...own-device

Did you choose pay as you go for $3?

When i tried FP, it was a PITA. After a week, I gave up. You can buy a number for port from numberbarn for $5. Much less aggravation.

I am interested in this plan but my wife and I have the ATT versions of the IPhone 7. I read the wiki and I have come to the conclusion that there is no way to get this phone to work on this plan. If anyone knows a way, it would be much appreciated.
