Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

What do Ting and Tello checkers say ?

Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. This device has not reached financial eligibility.

The Sprint account holder is the only one that can clear this balance with Sprint. If you have recently paid off your Sprint device, please ensure you allow 48 hours before checking compatibility.

If you bought the phone from a 3rd party you may want to ask for a refund.

Question. Will an AT&T iPhone Xs unlocked through eBay unlocking service work with Sprint? All Xs in the US have the same hardware and supposedly should work but Sprint have different phone eligibility requirements so I am asking. Thanks.

Boost phones cannot be activated on Sprint postpaid (there a few exceptions for certain new never-activated Boost phones that do not apply here - or for phones that served a full year on Boost).

You should have had no expectation to the contrary. There are thousands of Boost phones on EBay and none of them can be activated on Sprint postpaid. It is your job to avoid them. The only kind of Sprint phones from EBay that you can use are here are the very few non-Boost phones. There are some. I have bought several after verifying they were not of Boost or Sprint Prepaid origin.

But the vast majority of Sprint phones on EBay are Boost models that cannot be used on this plan at all. You should always assume they are Boost models until verified otherwise. Just because Sprint may allow some of these onto its MVNO's does not mean you can put them on Sprint postpaid as well.

I am so confused. Is it actually free or $5 per month? If it's $5 that is fine too since that is like free. Lol.

about $3-$5 per line for Taxes etc. depending on your zip code.
Check the Wiki for nearby zip.

Sprint iphone obviously is compatible Sprint network (no VoLTE thought)...if the phone is clean (no financial problem , not blacklist , no MVNO flagd etc.) , It would be no problem to use for BYOD plan

Thanks. I'll bring the phone to a Sprint store and see if they can give me a clear answer if this phone can be used on Sprint postpay or not.

Do you know if this deal allows for line transfers at different time? Meaning I am transferring 3 lines from T-Mobile. Can I transfer one line first and transfer the other lines 1-by-1 and join the 1st line in family plan? It should be possible and all contract and billing dates still follows the 1st like but have anyone tried?

Thinking of getting iphone 7 (pre-owned) from Sprint.com. Since it it pre-owned, will it work with this plan? Is the price of $288+tax reasonable for a used iphone7?

It did pass Sprint BYOD check but I was hoping Sprint Store would give me more info. Nevermind that now. eBay is running 10% eBay Bucks promotion and I picked up an exact phone that's unlocked and supposedly in better condition. Returning the current phone is well worth the trouble if it means I don't have to deal with still-financed and might-not-unlock-after-50-days issues. Just hope this seller is more reliable.

Thanks for your help!!!
