Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Just completing this process and they want me to go to a Sprint store with two form of ID to verify account in order to move forward with the port. They told me to do NOT have them activate the phone in the store... They just need to "unlock" the account via proper verification. Not sure if this was because I started the account but didn't have a SIM car therefore they had to ship me a SIM to call back when it's delivered. Anyone experience similar ?
That is correct advice re not letting the store touch the phone or set up a plan. If you do, it turns into a paid plan.

However you may not have to go to a store in the first place. Call 800-639-6116 Sprint Credit Dept Direct and ask if that can be waived for the free plan. They may give you a different identity quiz.'

If you do go a store, try to go to a Sprint owned store for better treatment.

I may have missed the answer to this somewhere in the thread. Does anyone know if I can lock in the deal online with any IMEI as long as it's approved through the Sprint site then pull a switcheroo to a different IMEI when it's time to activate once my Sprint sims arrive?
Do not do it online and you will not have this problem.

Otherwise, you could activate the non-existent device and then shortly afterward do a device swap on your dashboard and/or with tech support chat to swap on the device you want to use, IF the sim is suitable for the new phone (which it may not be in general). Otherwise you would have to go out and buy the right sim for the new phone, that's all.

Note: If you have a Credit Lock in place for your Experian credit file, you will have to lift it for Sprint to run their credit check. You can perform a temporary freeze removal and specify when to resume the freeze.

Just called credit and they told me because it's a new account this is required. Heading to corporate store now!

Can someone help me understand billing?

Signed up 3 lines July 24. Bills are as follows
7/24-7/24 = $12.83. Titled "First Bill"
7/24-8/23 = $14.81
8/24-9/23 = $14.81

My issue isn't my account, it's my cousin's postpaid EPRP decade old account.

I got him ported to T-Mobile from postpaid Sprint and then back to the free year. I ported one line on September 15. Monthly bill is normally $205 with 5 lines before taxes and fees. Billing period is August 23-September 22. But the bill is now $180 plus taxes for that period because it's 4 lines.

But where is the prorated charge for line 5 from 8/23-9/15? I refuse to believe Sprint is just giving away almost a month's free service for a line.

And on September 29, I ported out the other 4 lines. So it's gotten me thinking. Is his bill going to be zero once he pays the $180 for 8/23-9/22? The reason I'm bringing all this up is if they bill in advance or what because we can't go back a decade to see the first bill. If they bill in advance, my cousin will be paying $180 for a week of service from 9/23-9/29. I searched here and Google and people are saying they bill in advance. But the most recent bill clearly says 8/23-9/22. Is it really for October's service? My bill shown at the top makes it seem like they charge twice for the first month?!

I know but got it turned on. Even after providing my id they still have to overwrite it over the phone because it was not updating on his end. I'm wondering if it has something to do with me possible freezing credit with one of those buruea and forgot lol. Now the phone is active but signal keep going from full to null and will stay at null until I reboot. I couldn't stay with them on the phone any longer so I'll figure that out later.
