Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Anyone ported from xfinity mobile .. (xfinity mobile doesn't have PIN number associated to account) ....the Sprint rep said today that without pin, they can't port my number from xfinity (we tried 0000 as well as suggested by XM)
I ported from xfinity Mobile and the PIN is 0000 for me.
Remember that they have two account numbers: "XFINITY Mobile Account Number" and "XFINITY Account Number". You have to provide "XFINITY Mobile Account Number" which is a 6 digit number. Hope it helps

RE: $30/mo lock - Please let me know. I'd love to lock at this price.

@hodaddy - RE: 2nd SSN - What exact steps did you take to make sure it worked for you?

I want to do this now as I was with Sprint until July 31 and have moved to T-Mobile. My SSN was used before. We can use my partner's this time around. The T-Mo move from Sprint was horrible and horribly hard. It's been fine since but expensive - $50/mo/line roughly for their base Unlimited. I'd love to get back to Sprint for the BYOD 1-year free+tax deal.

read all bout it..in ...wiki...

Means you need to chat with Google Fi to remove "mvno" status from the device so it can go on Sprint postpaid.

That is a (misleadingly worded) standard message that you get in that situation because Google Fi is considered a Sprint mvno.

Easy to get fixed as above.
Thanks

Also you can get UNLIMITED data and 15 GB hotspot and HD video and Hulu and Tidal for $30 a month via SWAC with easy-to-get employee referral on Reddit.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...wac_on_me/

New customers only (i.e 45 day wait as usual or new SSN).

The offer is still open despite the expiry date mentioned.

a lot of these problems are just simple carrier re provisioning. but if you don't know how Srpint network works it will drive you crazy. if you know a simple device config or inputting re provisioning phone numbers will usually do the trick and the shitty speeds will become zasssy speeds..
Can you expound for those of us that are of simple mind, and fatigued from reading endless Reddit, wiki, etc? I just activated an essential(aware radio is not the best, but Verizon worked well with consistent 14+ down))yesterday, at home (just north of Seattle) phone continues to repeatedly search for any data service.. at work getting slow but acceptable 5-6 down. Not familiar with the deep dive settings, APN etc. Thanks in advance for the help.

So if I have Verizon and phone not paid off yet can I get this ? And what happens to my Verizon Service ?
Yes.
Verizon service ends the same day that the outbound port to Sprint occurs.

I tried to search this monster thread but didn't see anything mentioning this.

My first free year ends 10/31/2018, I called in to see what my options were when this free year ends.

I was given a promotion to pay $25 for 4 months for the same plan. After 4 months if I upgrade my device I will be given another year of free service.

Was wanting to upgrade anyways so I signed up for the promo.

Very interesting. The offers are getting better and better. Do you stay at $25 if you do not upgrade the phone?

I didn't ask that and did not get anything in writing either. She did say normally it would be $60 a month. My account was also noted with the details so I would be sure to get it come the end of February.

You can still get it.

They had an internal contest that ended on 9/30 to see who could get the maximum number of new sign-ups but the offer is still open.

There are lots of Sprint employees who can do it for you. He just was the best organized I saw and is well connected in Sprint so Iinked to his post.

If you have multiple lines, would all the lines need to upgrade their devices or just one to get all of them extended?
