I have received several of the notifications about reaching the domestic roaming limit on my son's phone. One month, he was cut off at 100MB, but in two months, they let him exceed the limit -- 151MB and 168MB. There has never been a charge for the domestic roaming overage.
Thanks for lhe info! I appreciate it....

From Apple the Sprint version and don't let them open it or activate it, do it yourself to keep your plan.
IF there was a non-Carrier-Branded version, one should buy that.

Another thread said that Verizon immediately unlocks phones upon activation. So perhaps for someone who wasnt sure if they were going to have Sprint service, it might be better, overall, to get the Verizon model. But it probably doesnt matter much ... really

First, there is no official end date.
Second, if/when this ends, it is unclear if we will be able to add new lines to BYOD.

Folks, please dont add to confusion.
There is enough of that already

If the Galaxy S6 is not the Sprint model them it could never work on Sprint and they will not allow you to swap to it and there there would be no point in doing so even if you could.

If it is the Sprint model you probably could, and you could probably just activate it directly in the first place too, EXCEPT that even the Sprint model will usually not go on via either route without a lot more work because usually it will have been on an mvno by now and have the mvno-only flag set.

Unlocking is a minimal requirement for *any* non-Sprint phone to be used on Sprint, but does absolutely nothing in terms of adding Sprint capabilities to the phone that it does not have designed in.

Unlocking a phone does not make it the equivalent of an "unlocked model" which is a completely different term that refers to a special model that is good on all carriers.

What ?!

For the past 5 years, every Verizon iPhone has easily worked on Sprint. Just look at the list of eligible BYOD iPhone devices !!

120 days

IF you see the Upgrade option, you can safely upgrade. At whatever price they list. No Flex-Lease 18 promotions.
