Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi there -
I have a cricket wireless unlocked LG Fortune Phone (M153 model).
Would like to seek help here to know, if it will work on the Sprint network?
Also, I have a sprint iPhone XS sim card already.... will I need a new card too?

Tried to look up the phone compatibility on the ting website... no luck.
Thanks for your help in advance.
No, you'll need a Sprint compatible phone. Preferably one that has been used on Sprint postpaid only. They are easily activated.

So no chance of changing to a different phone until 4 months have passed on the plan? My Nexus 6P is dying on me and need to upgrade...
You can bring any phone and swap it into your BYOD plan. There are a bunch of Moto Z2 Force new or New open box on eBay and swappa for $220's.
LG G6, LG V20 also excellent options (LS 993/ LS 997 Sprint versions)

You have to call in order to swap your phone. Some have said NOT to call the telesales 866 number, but I did and swapped my phone out in about 20 minutes.

I agree. If I was still using Google Voice, I could take the chance and dump the service any moment if I had an issue. I can't stand the thought of porting my number to Sprint -- If I could guarantee I won't talk to customer service, I would have dropped my Cricket line and given this a try.

I'm amazed how aggressive/desperate Sprint has become. Got to wonder if they didn't screw so many customers like myself years ago whether they'd have to get to this point to gain market share.

Just sign up my second year of my free Sprint service today on the phone after completed my first year in late August.
Got the whole thing done in half hour. I even signed up the Sprint Complete plan to speed up the process, then cancel it 2 hours later.

Which temporary plan did you use for 45 days? Tmobile prepaid? Looking for a cheap temporary prepaid plan.

Well it's not terribly wrong or anything, but since you can do it with either TeleSales or Support, and the large majority of people here have always recommended doing it with Support, either from your DashBoard, Chat, or calling Support, why do it with TeleSales?

Did TeleSales actually do it or did they just transfer you over to Support anyway?

The problem is, a lot of people who call TeleSales are told erroneously that they cannot do it until 120 days. Also, calling TeleSales needlessly subjects you to sales pitches usually.

It has never taken me anything like 20 minutes. I always do it from my Dashboard, as do many others here, which leads to Chat usually. It takes 2 minutes if that. Also after you have done it a couple of times via the DashBoard, you can do it yourself entirely automated with no manual intervention because it remembers prior phones that you had on.

But I guess there's room for different approaches and recommendations being made to people and the main point is that the customer be made aware that they can do it. Maybe it does not matter so much to look for optimal ways to do it..

I recommend Mint Mobile. It was Mint Sim before. Cheap and reliable. I've been using for 2 years without any problem. It's T-mole MVNO.
I left mint because service was spotty and I kept dropping calls

Tried to activate this today but they are saying this promotion isn't available in MA...?
Tried online and got this error message after getting the SIM added to my account "The number of devices in your cart exceeds your line limit of 0. Please remove enough devices to get to your limit."

Did you call 866-782-8777 or some other number?

Do you mean the whole state of Massachusetts is excluded or just that there is no Sprint coverage in your particular local area? The latter does happen in a few areas - they will not accept customers where they have no towers that can reach them.
