Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Anyone have Red Pocket? And do a speed test? I'm getting 2 mbs max on this Sprint deal, which called my deaf plan.
I hear Red Rocket uses Verizon.

Red Pocket does offer service through Verizon (their "CDMA" plan) but it's about $250 for a one year plan with unlimited talk/text and 2gb of data per month. It's a good deal for Verizon service but it's a lot more expensive than free Sprint.

Has anyone signed up with a straight talk iPhone se (would have be unlocked with rsim)? I hear it's missing one of the key Sprint bands but still works with Sprint.

Hi guys, just finished reading the wiki and I wanted to run this by you guys.
I am on Mintsim and have the account number and pin. I have the correct sim, it's iccid and my phone's imei and phone number. Here is my plan:

1. Call 866-782-8777
2. Ask for the bring your own device FREE 1 year plan and be sure the rep verifies it before ending the call.
3. Try to avoid the Total Equipment Protection package but let them add it if they insist. Remove it from the online account later.
4. Get on sprint E-bill and autopay.

Is that still the best way to have it go as smoothly as possible? Did I miss anything from the wiki or the thread Smilie

Just add the damm Protection and remove it 2 hours later...save you time and make your rep happy.

Been a long time lurker of this thread and i'm sure millions of questions have been asked since it's almost 2,000 pages long. I just want to ask a few questions from maybe someone that was in a similar position.

I currently have T-Mobile 4 Lines, and this deal seems pretty damn great. I'm paying $140 currently.

- If I were to switch all 4 lines, what if the phones do not qualify? What happens then?
- Can I purchase/lease a new phone?

I don't have any information on updates except from what was listed on device info from sprint.
"Software doesn't push until 11/7/18". I wouldn't hold sprint or samsung to this date. Also since you have t-mobile device the update would need to come through them.

I can't really help since I don't have Samsung S9.
Some suggestions...

Good luck.
Thank you for all the suggestions. I think flashing carrier firmware is a little bit over my head right now. Comintel suggested that I insert the Sprint sim. I did and did not get the "Invalid sim" error so we think my phone is good to go. I also got 4 bars of service and some Sprint APN's populated in the APN list so that is comforting. Gonna call Sprint tonight or tomorrow and switch over. If everything is successful I will report back.

I have been using the iPhone 6s A1688 on the line and when I tried to swap the phone with an iPhone SE A1723, I can't get the signal.
The Sprint chat agent asked me to get a new sim for the SE, so I went to Apple store and got an sim card ends with 436C. When I'm doing the swap, the agent said everything looking fine at his side, but I don't get any service. I get the "Sprint LTE" showing up every time I restart the phone, but after a few second, it switched to "no service" and stays that way. I have tried to do the network reset and also the carrier reset via the dialpad. But none of them worked.
The Sprint agent asked me to go to the corporate store and tried the sim ends with 446C/426C/416C, does that make any sense?
I haven't been to the corporate store yet, but the Apple store CS told me they only have 436C for the SE.
Does anyone know if the Sprint agent is just guessing, or it is making sense?
Or, that there is something wrong with the phone? (I have no problem using it on Tmobile).

iPhone 6s SIM should work in Unlocked SE. I used SE sim in 6s.
A1723 and A1688 differ only in LTE band I guess, both have cdma.

Don't give your credentials in store. They may change plans telling they had to change to help with the request and ask to call customer to change it back. There is no way to bring back paid line to free.

All those sims are listed as valid for that phone on S4GRU's chart, as is 506C, so I doubt it is the sim unless that particular part you got happens to be defective, which is rare in the extreme. Others may post suggestions.

There is also always the possibility that the sim-contact pins in the phone are becoming marginal.
