Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Most likely the phone.

Boost is part of Sprint.

There is no case on which Boost service should ever be better than Sprint service.
I don't get service.
None, Sprint lady on the phone said
quote "it doesn't matter of it don't work"
I said, I want to RMA.
She said no, you have to pay $600.
I said it's broke.
She said, I will loose commission cause Mr. CEO's rules If return it.
She said, in India we don't speak. We want money.
She she no, you can't return.
You have to pay $600.
The whole thing don't make sense, other than sprint than sprint uses
commission and slave labor $1.

I'm going youtube on Sprint.
What a Jerk off company.

If it is within 14 days you can return it. If you reported the problem within 14 days maybe you have a shot at it.

But maybe someone here can solve the problem too if you post full details of the problem including model number etc. Sometimes problems are solvable - see three posts back for one example.

If you are sure that someone else's Boost phone really does work well in the same place then it is quite likely that the problem can be resolved.

I did.
All 6 Indians gave me the run around.
I"m on the 1st day, since a run a round is unethical.
I told them, to ship it back even. They refused.

Update: It's finally working. LTE is on!

Yes, I did that. Still no LTE :-(
Comes up Sprint 1x --> Sprint 3G

I can't imagine the signal is bad in my area so that it drops to 3G. My zip code is 94538.
Even the sales rep told me my zip code has Sprint 4G LTE when I was signing up for my service earlier today.

NOTE: I supplied the IMEI (15 digit) to the rep for activation. But, should I have supplied instead, the MEID (14 digit) number?
That MEID is simply dropping the last IMEI digit

Any idea guys? Thanks in advance.

You can definitely return it if is within 14 days.
There may be a restocking fee.

Try again and, if they still refuse, contact [email protected] (VP Customer Management) and she will straighten that out.

I just did this, and there appears to be a "Confirm?" box. So, I clicked it.
Next, a blue bar on the top of the dashboard is shown saying to allow the system an hour to update and you will receive an email confirmation.

Will report back once the removal is completed. Let's see if it is permanent...

Quote from comintel :
I recently went through removing Insurance again, and found that it is very confusing now in the online interface because you have to issue "Save" way down at the bottom of the page after you make the change or else it goes back to the old value the next day.

I unticked it, it said "Wait do you really want to do that?. ". I said "Yes" and it then showed as off and showed a zero monthly charge. But I went back accidentally a few days later and noticed that it was back to Selected again.

So I went through it again, but this time hunted around and found the obscure little Save button way down at the bottom of the page.

This time I did click Save. Shortly later I got an email confirming it had been removed. A say or two later I got an SMS saying it had been removed.

So I agree that it is too difficult for many people to get it accepted by the online system and suggest people do it by CHAT instead.

There is another "Save" as well at the bottom of the page that you need to click as well or it will revert in my experience!

Unless they changed it again....

No that would not be a problem. If it works at all, the IMEI/ MEID is fine.

It might be the wrong ICCID (sim number) though - or some other things.

You say it is iPhone SE A1723. There are iPhone experts here who know better than I what to do....but I would start by taking it to a known strong signal area to test there ... also make sure latest IOS update is on.

An update:
After attempting the PRL update again (3rd time tonight), I think, rebooting my phone was the key step here, ...finally! Sprint LTE is on.

Download = 8 Mbps / Upload = 3 Mbps (signal: 3 bars Sprint LTE)

It is so finicky! Oh well - I can go to sleep now.

Did it yesterday. Over one hour spent 8 people talked to. And it wasn't even any problem. They just didn't know who should do what

Just curious, did you call 866-782-8777 or some other Sprint number?

Sprint did not want to make this plan too easily accessible to general callers who had not been targeted with the specific publicity and phone number..

Normally the TeleSales staff at 866-782-8777 are in no doubt what to do.

Occasionally the call can get misrouted I guess.

Here's my experience on an unlocked Moto G6 that I just picked up via the Best Buy deal.

- Signed up for a Google Voice number. Unlocked it for $3.
- Called the number in the wiki...and they set my account up. Didn't push me on insurance, but wanted me to sign up for a tablet and a car hot spot. I declined...CSR was persistent, but not overly.
- Said my number would work in 15 mins.
- Didn't work after 15 mins...so he transferred me to some other department where they said it'll take 2 hours.
- Didn't work after 2 hours so I called the porting help department number in the wiki...and they said it was flagged to port in a few days so she did something and told me to reboot my phone.
- Rebooted and it worked great. Full LTE speeds and no issues.
- Set up my online account and there are no extra charges or funny business. I did however have to add in the auto pay information myself.
- This was all on Friday 11/9. Today 11/13 I got a bill for about $3. I'm guessing it's a prorated number so next month will be interesting to see how much it will really cost me. Either way...fantastic deal. Thanks to all those that helped here and in the wiki.
- Seriously people...just read the wiki...it's spelled out pretty clearly.
