Try help assistant in app
Pay off the phone in app, press that help (? - in app) and type 'Pay off device'.

In corporate store cash only.
Looks like I can try this option, once paidoff do I need to request for unlock or Verizon phones are unlocked by default?

Do you really have to port in for the deal? When I bought the sim online for the free year it didn't ask me about porting in.

Hi All.
My numbers are currently with Sprint. Can I port my numbers out to MetroPCS or other prepaid providers for a few months then port back into this free Sprint plans? If yes, how long before I can port back in? I will be using a different SSN. Thanks.
Check out the post referenced in the Wiki with big Click me links. That will help a lot.

What does promotional pricing good till Jan 30, 2019 mean? That the free service will be only till then?
I am currently 8 months into the plan... was thinking of signing up again (different SSN), to start the new 1 year say from now (or maybe Jan?)

Some of the emails that are sent out, or maybe you are looking at an old announcement, never got the dates in them updated when the offer got extended repeatedly, that's all..

Current latest official Sprint web pages are showing current dates.

There is no issue along the lines you are concerned about.

I was planning on getting the TMO esim to rinse and repeat. However, last time around I had a problem with the identity questions (as a lot of people have had) and ended up using a family member's ssn. This time around I want to try and use my ssn and possibly go to a corporate store for further ID verification if allowed. However, I really need my phone service to be uninterrupted which makes the TMO esim (which will have no service) and my previous ID problem a recipe for a headache. I was thinking about possibly buying a cheap pay as you go sim and funding it. OR questioning whether it's possible (highly unlikely?) To open a Sprint BYOD 1YF account with the intention of porting the line later. Later as in hang up with the Sprint rep and do the porting out process after securing account and returning call to port back in.
I need to be able to have cellphone service b/c I have people I need to communicate with and they insist on phone calls instead of email or such for some reason.

The wiki has a subsection titled "Sim cards". There you will find a link to Ting's website showing you which device takes which sim card. There I saw that Moto G6 takes SIMGLW416Q. You can reference that link again if you need the info for another device.

I doubt you can get a byod line before you port but you might be able to get credit approval in advance so you don't have to worry about that aspect.

Just joined this game on Nov 5, but there's FED flags issues on all the BYOD Phones. Why would sprint put the FED flag on a phone that was customer owned and brought to sprint?
