Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Absolutely (as discussed in the Wiki).

Sign up by phone so that you do not have the up-front cost of the $30 activation fee (although it should be refunded later anyway).

The problem was definitely ID verification questions. I didn't know the answers to any of them. SMH lol. I didn't even get a hard pull (which I'd like to think it supports my theory that the problem was the questions). The cred rep even said "we can't verify your ID".

Going to the Corp store before doing anything. I was thinking about doing that too.

When people are asked to go in person for ID verification, the rep over the phone doesn't enter any info in the system about the potential customer, do they?
So it would be like a random person walking in and saying "I need to be ID verified so I can sign up for service over the phone". Or is there some kind of reference # given to the customer to show in store?

Also, since the questions were the problem and it is said that ID questions will also be asked in store, I'm going to assume that I'll fail those too. I have about 5 or so forms of ID, but I'm not sure what Sprint will go with.
I do not know the exact details. One would have to feel one's way along it. Different people seem to have had contradictory experiences. People have both passed, some on retries, and others failed, or been denied retries, in all sorts of scenarios, without clear patterns being evident.

Something tells me it may be somehow easier at the store but I am not sure. The stores (and the credit reps serving them) should be geared toward making sales and therefore qualifying the customer.

I almost failed it too with Sprint. Sometimes they are nicer than others in sort of dropping hints if you hesitate. I did fail a similar quiz with the USPS (for an unrelated matter). Now I review my credit report ahead of time.

I would not worry too much. We can only do what we can do. It should be ok but it is not the end of the world if it doesn't work out. Get any reference numbers you can from whoever. Worst case VP Marci Carris is another potential avenue of appeal that, once again, has worked out for some and not for others.

That is crystal clear (all over the Wiki and this thread).

How reliable is Sprint in South Florida?
Working very well on this plan-
Boynton, Naples, Sarasota & Vero Beach.

From dramatic teens to business execs, we have 20 lines.
Occasionally we roam free on T-Mo & Verizon in Okeechobee.

For a family our size, savings are phenomenal!

We have an Essential ph1.

I got the Sim at the Town Center Mall Apple Store by telling them-
I'm switching my iPhone 8 service to Sprint.

They handed me the Sim & a receipt for $0.00.

Nice, sadly no Apple store close by. Maybe sawgrass Mills Mall? But that is still a trip

You can't generalize as to which is better - they each have strong areas and weak areas.

Understandable, I'm just worried that there will be some dead spots or just shitty enough reception that would hinder me

That can happen in some areas.

It could also happen with TMobile or AT&T.

It all depends!

Actually Sprint has extended area roaming on TMO now in many areas anyway on the right phones. Right where I live (in a somewhat out of the way location surrounded by trees) I think Sprint is a better choice as the others are worse.

It probably does but it is very complicated re which phones etc.

Also it is only for data (but that is where the worst problems often are).

I just got my first bill. I activated my phone on 11/20, signed up with autopay to save $5.
They charged me FEES of $4.00 dated 11/19 and $5 "for the plan" for the month. $5 was deducted for autopay which still leaves the bill at $4.00 per month. Does this sound right ?
