Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

how long will it take to port the number and get activated?

I received SIM card yesterday, and called last night to port the number from google voice, and received the order confirmation. But so far still have not received activation confirmation.

And can not use the phone number to sign up Sprint account.
Call this number. They can expedite your port. Takes less than 5 minutes. SPRINT PORTING DEPT NUMBER IS 866-437-1818

Thanks. I was just thinking unlocked phones should be able to go anywhere but finding out it's not true. Even if you do your homework and find your phone should be compatible and even if you ask the RP people and they say it should, doesn't necessarily mean phone will work. It's a lot of pain to buy the plan, port the number and then be without a phone for 5 days only to find out your phone does not work. So you get refund, go find you another place to go. It's just a pain to try different service providers and go thru all the trouble and then get disappointed in the end.

But I refuse to go post paid and pay crazy prices so I will sufer thru it.

Guy that sold me the phone swears he never had it on Sprint. He purchased from BestBuy and was on Cricket, and couple others in the 4 months he owned it. then he sold it.

thanks for your help.
Request a Clik-it-Ticket to flip an MVNO flag.

Twigby refused help on six of our Nexi & Moto IMEI's last year.

So I spoke to an american-based knowledgeable tech at 866-556-7310 who sent a confirmation email 2 days later advising me to call Tele-sales again for activation.

All IMEI's were then clean thru the Sprint checker & porting went smoothly via 866-782-8777.

I'm able to port my OOMA VOIP Land Line to Sprint BYOD plan. It took around 9 days. During the porting startup process provide Sprint, your OOMA phone number as account number. It needed last 4 digit of OOMA account holder SSN as well and OOMA account holders exact billing address. DONOT call OOMA at all for porting related problem. OOMA doesn't handle the porting OUT. It is handled by 3rd party company Neutral Tandem. When SPRINT starts the porting process within 2 days, Neutral Tandem will provide them a exact date of of transfer which is generally 6-7 days from the porting initiation date.

If that's Neutral Tandem, I'd hate to know how much additional foot-dragging a more partisan tandem would be capable of.

Already have 1 line open with this promo. I have another line on mint expiring in February. Assuming the promo is over by then, can I still Port lines into my sprint plan? Or will they be the regular rate?

Are these new slower speeds still good? Do they also slow down social media sites and web browsing or is it just video. And can you occasionally get higher speeds or is that just the cap? Didn't see this in the wiki, sorry if I missee it, but scrolling through countless people asking things in the wiki is driving me nuts. Lol

Thanks, I'll research this. I just put phone on Total wireless today so maybe next month.

Today I get message from the Sprint message board:

You can definitely do that. But you have to have your original carrier remove that mvno flag. Since you have never been with Sprint, we don't have access to remove that. If you want to send me a private message with the phone number associated with that phone and why type of phone it is, I would be happy to see what I can find and make sure that device is compatible.
I'm here to ease your frustrations and find all of the solutions.

I think I will forget that route...maybe others get lucky there but not me. What do they mean my original MVNO? Is that Total Wireless, current provider? I bought off Swappa so would not know the original MVNO seller had it on.
