Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You have to get it off Fi and then get Fi to flip the MVNO flag off (two separate steps) and then it is eligible. We have gone through this dozens of times. (Fi counts as a Sprint MVNO).
What do you mean by flip the mvno flag off? I don't change carriers often so I'm not up with all the tricks. Had the same problem with metro and getting the free phones because they said fi was TMobile.

So here are my next set of issues after receiving my SIM from my phone order (with creation of account):

They tried porting in my number but it failed the first time. So I was transferred to the porting department who had to set up the port again. However, the agent could not reattach the original free plan to the account but said she would send the number to the escalation team to make sure I get the original free plan. This interaction happened last night on 12/17. She said my line will be active today 12/18 at 6PM CST.

Issue 1: If the line/port is still not active, what should be done to solve this issue as seamlessly as possible?

Issue 2: If the port was successful with my line active BUT the free plan is not attached, should I contact Marci or Elyse to get the free plan as easy as possible? Will the escalations team the previous phone agent described actually work as expected without further intervention from me?
Yes I would contact Marci if they miss their promised date or anything is not perfect.

Personally I might not have let them take this route and would have started over because others have had problems that lasted a long time even after fixes were applied. Maybe they have improved their procedures since then. Most likely it will be ok.

After being on an mvno (including Fi), a flag is set in the Sprint database indicating the phone is in use (or was in use and may be pending reuse) on an MVNO.

But Fi support will flip it off on request once you are off Fi. Then you can activate on Sprint postpaid.

In fact you are right because looking at the Cell2get site, it does show the model number is LGSP200SLVKT which is the Sprint postpaid model.

So I would indeed buy that one now although nobody has yet done so yet from that particular store. Should be ok.
were you able to apply a coupon for $15 off your order from this website?

Does anyone know if the Fi LG G7 are compatible on Sprint? I know Fi uses Sprint, but I don't know if the firmware supports just Sprint

I did not try.
Try calling and asking them if it does not work.

Nobody knows.

It could, or it could end any time.

I unlocked my Iphone 6S with ATT and would like to get this deal, but do I have to end my ATT service first? This is my only phone and I can't risk any downtime of not having phone service.

I also bought an unlocked Moto G6 off Amazon so maybe I'll switch that phone to ATT and then do the Iphone for Sprint.

Hi, I ported out 2 lines yesterday from the free plan to Metropcs to get the iphone 6s deal, now I wanted to switch back, as we still have 3 active lines on this free plan. Just read WIKI and found that there is expired list for eligible devices to use on the free plan , which includes my Moto g5 plus. This phone had been used on the free plan before the switch. Does this mean that I can no longer switch back using the same device? If that's the case,it's too bad.

Also I received a email promo from Sprint saying that if I switch back one line within 14 days , I can get $100 credit, if two or more lines, get $250 credit. That sounds too good to be true. I guess this is for paid service , not for the free plan? But who knows? Why send me the promo right after I ported out 2 lines? As per the promo email , I need to call : 855 836 8723. Anybody have knowledge of this promo? Thanks.

I just transferred an iPhone 6S from AT&T to Sprint. You want to port your number to Sprint first. When you call Sprint and give them all the info listed in the wiki, they will mail you a SIM card specific to your phone model. Wait until you can confirm the port goes through to Sprint, then ensure on your AT&T account that the line has been cancelled. After I received my SIM from Sprint, I called to activate, and the port was performed while on the phone. At least for me, the process was seamless. After a few days, I noticed AT&T still had my number listed on that account, so I called and cancelled.

There is no list of expired devices.

The list you refer to (which is not part of the Wiki) is "expired" only in the sense that it has been replaced by a more complete list.

You can use the same phones as before and same sims.

You should not be eligible for the promo but no harm trying.
