Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

What does it mean for a device to be on the Expired Eligible Devices List? I currently have an Essential PH-1 on a BYOD line, and plan on working out and back in since I'm at the end of 12 months. Can I no longer reactivate my Essential on this plan? Thanks!
It means nothing.

That was a note (not part of the wiki) by a SlickDeals editor that has confused some people. He meant that that particular version of the list was obsolete / incomplete..

The phone is still eligible.

For those looking for a lower-cost paid plan that will not expire in a year, $25 Kickstart is available again.

Ends again next week January 3. Port in required. New lines.

Did BYOD Unlocked Galaxy S9 from Verizon to Sprint on this free plan 12/26/18 in zip 53132. Download speeds in Speedtest ranged from 1.5-30 Mbps during the day with cell tower 800 feet away. Signal 2 bars or lower. Upload speeds range from barely upload at 0.22 Mbps to zero. Now in the evening 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM CST getting download of about 0.22 - 1.5 Mbps, and uploads near zero. Yes, I did all the things, updating PCL, Profile, etc. My Verizon wireless speedtests were 35-90 Mbps down and 30 Mbps up. Free is good unless it creates a problem. For me, the deprioritization of data at peak busy times makes this free plan a problem. I will likely bite the bullet and switch back to Verizon.
Assuming this is your home...Did you see if you are eligible for the magic box? My service was not very good at the house and the magic box improved it significantly. It was free. Check the wiki.

horrible!!!
I tried to port in yesterday. After they set up my account and I got transferred to a department for active my phones. I got disconnected and nobody called me back. I received an email saying all my phones are transferred successfully and ready to use, but it shows "No service" on all of my phones. the problem is I don't have landline and I have use wifi phone to call sprint, and got disconnected so many times and everyone just asked me to turn off and back on, try ##8 numbers, none of them really know how to solve the problem!!! I don't have service and I'm on the wifi phone for 8 hours and still nobody can solve the problem. Then they told me to wait until today to see. STILL NO SERVICE! Sprint sucks!!!
Have you tried restarting your phone?

or 416TQ as noted by edog11. Either is fine.

Sprint stocks 516TQ's and Apple stocks 416TQ's.

Hmm ok. When I activated my 10s they had me use 516TQ.

516TQ is the "BYOD Sim" stocked by Sprint and 416TQ is the manufacturer "primary sim" used by Apple, and either is good.

The S4GRU chart is based on comprehensive Sprint internal specifications and makes clear that both are fine.

Dozens, probably hundreds here, have used the 416TQ's from Apple (which is where more people get their iPhone sims I think). Plus edog11 is always right!

Sprint always has at least 2 sim parts valid for any phone to have dual sourcing in case of supply issues.

But sure, naturally they mention the one they stock in their stores.

Not sure if it was mentioned already, but I got on with Sprint Chat and they said no changes can be made to the promotion (i.e. I asked about adding hotspot or hd video streaming for a fee).

Ahh screw Sprint. My phone is eligible but the online order said it could not process after running a credit check. I spent 30 minutes on the phone and went through all their damn credit check hoops and still can't get accepted. I have to now go to a store with ID proof. Credit score is about 650 and I never been late on a payment with phone service.

I never used Sprint before and already hate this company.

Just received an email stating: Your Unlimited promo is ending soon 01/31/2019
*Already checked the wiki and did not see anything about when exactly to cancel this promo.

1) When should I begin the cancellation? on 01/31 or now?
I don't want to get charge the normal rate for a month if they bill me a month prior to cancellation for normal rate

2) Does porting out one line cancel all three lines on same account?
One line will be ported to MetroPCS (I don't have multiple social security numbers to use) . The other two lines will not be ported anywhere, i just want them cancelled.

Is this BYOD still on as of 12/27/18? I was on the BYOD for a year, that ended back in August, so I think I should qualify for the deal again? It was great for me. 3 lines was under $16/month.

Thanks
