Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Was playing with it, transfered my google voice number I never used, so then decided to get a dumb rugged phone for cheap for my 11 y.o. on that line and ended up with Kyocera DuraXT E4277 - could not do swap online, but they did it for me in chat. Does not require a SIM card, and can be found on e-bay for $15-$20. So for those who connected lines they don't need, that might be an option - a phone for a kid that goes to a backpack just in case.

Thank you.

I put one of those on too.
(People should ideally ask the seller to make sure it has never been on an MVNO to avoid issues that arise if it has been on an MVNO. One poster her had that problem although neither you or I had such a problem).

Hi.. Is anyone having issues after porting out from Sprint plan and then trying to port back in after a couple of months? I enrolled in the plan last year and ported out after a year in Sep 2018. I am trying to port back in to the free plan, but get an error stating that I am not eligible and that this plan is only for new customers. Any suggestions?

I read the wiki but didn't find am answer to my question. My friend uses an unlocked phone (that she bought brand new unlocked) that's an eligible phone. However, Sprint link claims she isn't eligible for this offer. Is that because she's on Republic Wireless currently? Is that considered a Sprint MVNO?

Just call the number ending in 8777 to sign up.

They will get the Billing Department to make sure your SSN is removed from the old account.

You can use your existing sims.

You would not want to do it online anyway because they would force you to buy new sims and charge a $30 activation fee up front (creditable later on).

rw..is sprint or something else?

wiki. note 13.

Note 13: Check if your phone is eligible. Click link below Go here [sprint.com] . Enter the imei of phone in question. Enter a cell number of a friend, coworker, family member etc. that you know is on something other than Sprint family (like Verizon , att, tmobile etc). Note the results. Again u r just checking if the phone status, not actually signing up at this point.

Yes, Republic uses both Sprint and TMobile. Depending on what phone you have and other factors, you would be on one or the other.

Check (ask RW) and you will probably find your friend is on the Sprint side of RW.

You will have to move the phone, for example onto the TMobile side of RW, which would take a different sim card which RW can send you. You have not specified what phone it is, which makes it hard to answer, as we have to start enumerating cases.

However, there will then still be another problem possibly, name that the phone will still have the Sprint mvno flag set. Maybe RW will be willing to reset that for Sprint postpaid. Anyway that will be for later. First step is to get the phone off Sprint's network. Then get ready for the next error (",,,You owe Sprint....") that you will need to address.

I would like to set this plan up for my dad, and have an At&t iphone 5s. I see the att iphone 5s is not eligible for the first year free plan.

Wondering if this is due to the bands not working on this phone or generally its just not eligible? If i setup an ipad on the plan, would i be able to later transfer the plan to the att iphone 5s or generally it will never work?

The att iphone 5s will not work and no tablets are allowed. If you scroll down the first page of this deal post, you will find a very comprehensive wiki with a link to eligible phones. Keep in mind all Sprint branded phones will work.

I currently have Moto E4 Plus that I am using with sprint BYOD but I would like to swap it. I have two other phones, first one is an unlocked Moto E5 Play from Xfinity Mobile and the other is an unlocked iPhone 6S (a1688).

When I check the IMEIs at Sprint, i get "Sorry, but this phone can't be activated with Sprint service."

When I check IMEIs at TING I see that both phones are supported on GSM network and directs me to purchase GSM X1 SIM and not CDMA Z1X1 SIM pack.

Does that mean both phones are not compatible with Sprint?

All of these questions are well covered in the wiki. There have been numerous phone suggestions posted in the past couple of days so you may want to read back a bit.

This would be a basic sprint phone at a great price and will have all the current sprint features. https://www.cell2get.com/lg-tribu...gK78vD_BwE
