What are good services to switch from Sprint? My 1 year deal expires last month.

Located in Bay Area, CA, <3 GB data is fine.
Switch back to this plan after 45 days off Sprint, or no time off in some cases - see the Wiki for details.

To cover the 45 days off, consider Mint which currently has 3 months 5 GB each for $20 TOTAL (not per month), and you can get the $20 back in fact by using a special rebate site - see
https://slickdeals.net/f/12295402-new-mint-mobile-customers-3-mo-unlimited-talk-text-5gb-lte-plan-20-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch

This is an incredible offer! I ordered it for my next time off Sprint AND was registered for the $20 rebate as well!

Thank you. I am paying $65 for this month because I forgot to cancel service. Just ordered Mint sim.

The customer service rep that set up my plan said she was adding the device protection coverage and I just let her add it since I could remove it later. However, after giving it a day or so for everything to process, I viewed my services and Sprint Complete is not currently active for the only device I have on the account. It's showing $9/mo for Sprint Complete if I added it, but I'm guessing that amount varies by phone model (I have a Moto X4). The chat bot also says I don't have a device protection plan active. Do you guys think I need to chat with their customer service just to make sure it didn't get added?

Correct, the amount varies by device. Since you dont see it under services, it looks like it's not added.
You can always chat with them, it should take a minute to confirm it.

Just happened to be searching for cheaper phone service when I found this thread.

Just bought a brand new open box Galaxy note 8 from Ebay for $335 (thanks to the 15% off promo), to use with this deal. Super excited!

Applause

Edit: Can I put my girlfriend on this plan as well if she is coming from Boost? And also can I have her sign up for this deal and put me on her plan when my promotion ends in a year? I know that sounds a bit greedy..

T-Mobile paid as you go counts as T-Mobile customer, right?
I don't think so. It says post paid, those are prepaid plans.

I just ported my Virgin Mobile to T-Mobile prepaid and was provided an account number by T-Mobile.
But it is not my phone number. The account number is 9 digits long and totally different than my phone number.
Anyone have this happen?
Thank you

Post or prepaid would be fine to port in from.

Yes, many have mentioned it previously. It should be no problem.

Bought my son a $89 LG V20 phone off ebay for Christmas thanks to Slickdeals. His 1 year with RedPocketMobile plan will expire in January. This one-year free is pretty awesome!
I have a year to figure out what is the best family plan for us.
Thanks Slickdeals and Happy New Year !

Yes you can do all that except
(1) you cannot port directly from Boost because Boost is part of Sprint. So port somewhere else first as an intermediate step..
(2) if the phone on Boost is a prepaid-only phone purchased originally from Boost, it cannot go on postpaid or this plan until it has been on Boost for a year and they sign off on it
(3) The plan most likely will not be open to new subscribers for another full year but you could possibly still do some timing of that general nature.

Does this plan include free call and text to Mexico? Or if I travel to Mexico, do I pay extra to receive call?
