Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I've used Sprint via FreedomPop, and the coverage was very poor outside large cities. Is service acquired directly from Sprint any better (perhaps because of roaming agreements or something)?

It can be because Sprint now has unlimited free roaming on TMobile. And it does have roaming subject to limits on other carroers.

However TMobile is even weaker than Sprint in many rural areas.

It is really impossible to generalize but if you travel in a lot of rural areas, you may be better off with Verizon.

Does this plan include free call and text to Mexico? Or if I travel to Mexico, do I pay extra to receive call?
See the Sprint page for this offer for details.

Free calls, no, not unless you subscribe to an add-on plan ($5).

Calls while roaming are not free either but there is free data roaming:

There are various add-on plans and they keep changing - you had better call or chat with them.

It has been going for a year and half without interruption. When it stops this forum will be flooded with posts and the Sprint page will be updated.

As long as this page still works, it is on:
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/of...:1yearfree

Sprint kills the offer page first when it ends a promotion.

It works great for many people.

But it is only in limited areas and for recent phones. It just started rolling out, you know. Maps have been published and more are coming soon. A whole bunch of new areas and phones are to be added in coming weeks.

It will be mid 2019 before it is broadly available nationwide. Densification of towers is needed in many areas. This requires time - they can't just throw a switch.

It's mostly just a convenience feature anyway. Most other carrier prepaid and MVNO plans do not have it at all on any phones anywhere and nobody even mentions it.

This plan does have Wifi Calling, international roaming, Visual Voicemail (on Sprint branded phones), and unlimited data, which are missing on most (all?) other carrier prepaid and MVNO plans. So it is far better plan than most of the competition at low-end price levels PROVIDED Sprint coverage is good in your area. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

I've been with Sprint for over 20 years, and no, it's not better. Voice is fine, but data is marginal at best. The only saving grace is how cheap the service is.

Hey Guys. Sorry I tried searching and reading through pages of comments but finding it hard to get a good breakdown on what I might actually pay if I get this.

I'm in Michigan. So inclusive of a similar tax rate and the fees, what should I expect to pay er month?

I've been on MINT for a while (still have 2 months left) but my signal is attrocious and my pone (PH-1) hates it so I constantly miss calls. Sprint is what my work uses so at least I know it will work there. Willing to try before going back to ATT with RedPocketMobile (or possible verizon), if this also ends up sucking

Thanks. I saw that, but it isn't clear if that is the tax rate with or without the fees included. I want to know my final out of pocket per month, to compare with other services

It is not just the tax rate.

It is the total all-in fees-included cost to the cent, including admin fees, all taxes, plan cost (0) and everything else.

Usually about $4.
