Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

50 GB (it was 22 GB earlier but was increased a few months ago).

However it occurs over 50GB only if the local network is overloaded. So you can normally go above 50GB with no deprioritization.

Anyone has any idea can I use a ITIN instead of SSN to join the plan. My plan will be ending soon. I would like to use my spouse ITIN as she does not have SSN.

As per the sprint promo page: until 3-31-2020.

The deal editor has also updated the front page post as requested.

Ok so lets say I'm trying to get the BYOD as cheap as possible with a decent phone.
I currently have 2 verizon numbers on seperate lines in addition to Google Voice numbers.
This https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sams...Id=5923704seems like a good option.

My problem is that I currently don't have a phone that can support the Sprint network.

Would I be able to go to BestBuy to purchase an unlocked phone, say the MotoG6, and activate for the sprint BYOD, fully intending to return it within 14 days for a full refund.

After activation and number porting, go back to bestbuy, activate a new line qualifying me for this $244 sprint branded S8+

Cancel that line, move the s8+ over to my free line, and return the Moto G6.

Seems convoluted, but this is slickdeals, isn't it?

Basically all I'm looking for is 2 DECENT phones for under $250each that I can bring into this BYOD plan.
I'm up for suggestions.

As long as it has some credit history on it - I don't see why not, they are technically indistinguishable for credit agencies.

Agreed with alexsemi that it should be ok as long as there is credit history under the ITIN.

See the wiki and yes, you can provided it id the correct sim part for the new (or the same) phone.
when we cancel an account by porting out do we need to call sprint again to confirm it is 100% cancelled or is it automatically 100% cancelled once ported out and we can redo again

update: solved by calling sprint customer service.
Issue: network reset

Thanks for all, e.g., @SamKQboro, @Cheapieee, @hodaddy

======================================

Any idea about how long is the port-in process from t-mobile prepaid to sprint

Sprint CS told me that the port-in is successful and immediately ready to use.

But in fact, I cannot make a call nor text.

I just wonder how long is the transfer process?

If the port in is successful, as the cs said it should be immediately ready.
What kind of phone do you have? You may just have to perform a carrrier reset or profile update, or perhaps just a reboot will do it.

Usually pretty quick. You can check the wiki for phone activation assistance.

Come back and ask if still having problems, but will need more specific details. Such as phone model and what you have done.

I will address this part. Most likely will not work. It's called "phantom churn" and the systems are set up to block it. The phone flip-flop will most likely cancel the promotion you are on. More than you could ever want to know about the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijq99lhrqr4 although he does not directly address that Sprint's system seems to be set up to cancel promotions when this is indicated.

Yes exactly. They are supposed to sell anything Sprint sells.

Actually as I mentioned they could even set up an empty account if they wanted to as well without a plan in it. It sounded as if they maybe had already done so. I would be prepared that that may be the case. If so, it is fine too.

You can just call the number ending in 8777 and they will handle everything either way.
So I got the SIM card today and the agent called me back to set up the service. They told me the 1-year free account is having issues (agent couldn't get it to work right away) and they'd set me up with a temporary account ($45 plan) escalated to supervisor to have it changed to free account - and the supervisor or whoever would credit the account to make sure I didn't pay.

After reading the horror stories on here with the hassle, is it worth the time to deal with that? They already tried to hard sell Sprint Drive and now I'm getting a shady vibe. I asked them to call back tomorrow, but my current plan with callback number ends tomorrow lol - oof.
