Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Did it run an updater after you punch in those codes?

If it doesn't work, call sprint and tell them your mms is not working. They will fix on their end

Two questions -

1) I plan to add another line to my accoubt, can I use my same account number by dialing 8777 number without the need for another credit check or new setup account? I am qualified for up to 10 lines.

2) I have another DID number that I like to replace with the current sprint free account, I will need to port in, essentially this will become the second number porting. Will this screw up any account items replacing the current number?

4 or 2 are the usual TMobile roaming bands I see on my Sprint S8.

Sprint native bands are 41, 26, 25 only.
Comintel,
I'm not sure why, but LTE band 12 (used by TMobile to penetrate buildings) was enabled on my phone with 25, 26, and 41. Since I've had 26 turned off, I've had excellent reception with 12, 25, 41 and roaming on 4. My brother has Samsung S8 Note and gets stuck on a weak band 26 signal, while I'll have a strong band 4 signal. For the moment, I've found this Sprint Tmobile combination to be better than ATT or Tmobile.

That's great re your reception on 12 and 4. Even though it may show as roaming on band 4 or 2, it is free and unlimited.

I will change my post to mention band 12 as well. Which band is best is going to depend on the area. In some cases it will show as roaming and in some cases as native. It depends on particular transmitter and network configurations that are evolving. Often carriers use mixes of different vendor transmitters.

Is your brother's Note perhaps a N950U1 model rather than a N950U model? If so, that is probably the reason. The U1 models do not get all the frills - instead they have a more basic common configuration and are not updated as frequently.

Not sure on the model. He got it from Sprint on promotion. He's tech-phobic and doesn't like me fooling with his phone!

Well if it is from Sprint it would be the Sprint model.
In that case I think it is just that the Note 8 has not yet got the latest LTE updates. The S8 definitely got them first. I believe he will get then in a while then, probably when VoLTE is released for that model, which should be soon.

Just ported one line from my 1/31/19 expiration to a new SSN, experience was decent overall. Rep forced me into sprint complete as it was a "bundle offer", but I played along and it was easy enough to remove over chat. It still shows up on my plan right now, but at least I'll have a transcript of the chat in case anything happens.

Now I need to port my other line over, does anyone know if I can do that through chat, or does it have to be through the sales line?

No, chat cannot add an extra line.

You have to call the number ending in 8777.
