Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I'm trying to port my phone number to Tmobile pay as you go plan. The online method doesn't work as the 'port the phone number' option is grayed out. I guess the online system blocks people porting current phone number to the cheapest pay as you go plan. I didn't see the problem for the $40 monthly plan.

The only thing holding me back is the lack of tethering. I don't use it much but it's crucial when I need it.

I am currently a Twigby (Sprint MVNO) customer, so I need to port out my number to Cricket or H20 before I can be eligible for the deal. Does Sprint require me to have my Twigby account closed for 45 days in order to be a "new customer", or does that only apply to Sprint postpaid customers?

Correct, only current sprint customers.

For the Sprint > TMobile > Sprint people, how do we know the phone is ported over to TMobile when we are using a digital SIM from eBay.

TMobile told me on phone that the port could take up to 24 hours.

Probably call your number to see if it rings, or goes to tmo voicemail.

I tried to talk to them for starting this free 1 year service. Asked about the credit check. I was told that this is going to be a soft credit check. is that correct? won't it reduce my credit score by few points because of the credit check?

The results there aren't as instant as a simple dial, if one's anxious for a port process update.

Postpaids are typically a hard pull, a few points ding.

See Wiki's FAQ #4
Depends on what you're trying to do, are you moving both your Fi device and number?

If a 5-10 point drop for a short time worries you, you have bigger fish to fry..

My friend wants to upgrade his phone on his Sprint paid acct. There is no promo for iPhone for upgrade. All the promos are associated with a new line (except BOGO where one of the lines can be an upgrade). I suggested him to port out to ATT prepaid ($10 or so). And then port back that number on a new line and get the promo for the iPhone X.

Any issue with the above suggestion? Also, what is the procedure to get the acct and pin info for ATT prepaid service so that it can be ported back to Sprint? Thank you.

Two questions -

1) I plan to add another line to my accoubt, can I use my same account number by dialing 8777 number without the need for another credit check or new setup account? I am qualified for up to 10 lines.

2) I have another DID number that I like to replace with the current sprint free account, I will need to port in, essentially this will become the second number porting. Will this screw up any account items replacing the current number?
1) No need for another check nor account, see Wiki note 0 to add line(s).

2)it shouldn't if you're just adding a new line. You can just port in the did num, and the eligible device want to use with it.

I bought the 4-in-1 SIM kit. I used only one SIM. Can I use the remaining 3 SIM cards in the pack for different lines? They all seem to have different ICC IDs. Thanks!
