Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Just want to double check I understand correctly before I start the process on my second year of BYOD. I have 5 lines on my plan under my account. I can port to t-mobile and port back the 5 lines as long as I use one of my other line's information(SSN) as the primary for the new year?

I think I am gonna take a gamble. My free year ends 4/30. Initially, I was going to use my 3 month Mint Mobile card now and just wait 45 days to get another free year from Sprint since I figure it's a decent chance the promo will be around in 45 days. Now I think I will wait till end of April to use my Mint Mobile card giving me an additional 3 months before the next year ends...if the promo is still going on in July.

Mine would have ended 4/30 also.

I ported out to the Mint deal (which is on again now I see) in mid to late January. I will decide re-signup timing later, probably March. Once they roll the date over (if they do) in early-mid-Match, that is a potential time to sign up again. If they do not roll it over, and we I close to the end of March, I may still have the option of signing up just before they cancel it if they give a few days notice..

Sprint is losing subscribers and is probably quite desperate to keep the count up so I think this plan could last a while (or not).

Some are saying that the deal is at risk of falling through and that the price pledge is a desperate move.

Umm, I thought you had to use the mint card within 45 days of purchase.

Make sure you use a Ssn that has never been associated with Sprint (at the least 45days)

They say in the threads that the reps say that you can still use it after that, but that the money-back guarantee no longer applies.

In one place in the site it says to call if you want to use it beyond that period. I get the impression it is ok.

Last Friday I changed from T-Mobile to Sprint, I bought the SIM Card from Sprint store for $2.99. I activated the line by calling to customer care the call lasted for 45 minutes. I live in Houston area here I have good coverage and plus point is sprint provides WI-FI calling which is good in case we doesn't have good coverage at home. Finally today my first month bill is generated and bill is $4.43 with Taxes in Houston. Thank you for this forum for all the information.
Are they cool about you just walking in the store to only buy a SIM to activate online?

I would not go for sprint even if they offered me money to try them out. Waste of time with low life suckers!

A corporate/repair store may give a sim for free or 2.99 for the 4in1 kit. If you go in to any other sprint store they may or may not sell you one and they can charge whatever they feel like charging. You can order directly from sprint and it usually arrives within 3 business days. Sim card charts, links and more details are in the wiki along with other options to buy a sim card.

Went to a corporate Sprint store, and they gave me 2 unpackaged SIM cards (can't complain for free). What sucks is now I don't know which is for the iPhone and which is for the new unlocked Alcatel Idol 5s I scored at Walmart earlier today for $49. They look identical.
