Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

35000+ comments, numerous success stories, not to mention the people recently on hard times who have probably found this to be of crucial help, and all so eloquently summed up .

Warning: I followed the instructions, and now a month later I see I am getting charged $168 a month. Seems like a scam.
Warning: You might need glasses.

Seems like a scam? Honestly that is a lot of discredit to one of the most helpful threads I have seen, let alone one where you get something you need and can save major $ on, unlike most fabric softener deals etc, no offense.

To those who have re-upped on this plan with the lowered speeds (480p vs 1080p/500kbps vs 1.5Mbps/etc), have you noticed a difference?

My plan expires in May and I'm thinking about renewing under a new SSN, but just wondered if it's still as worth it with the reduced speeds. No more hotspot is also a major downside, not to mention still no VoLTE for neither my Pixel nor 6p. (However, according to the last rep I spoke with, this feature is to be pushed out shortly. Anyone know if there's any truth to that?)

The only thing about this plan that I really like is that it's only $4.60/mo.

To fix this mistake, email [email protected] and she (Sprint Senior VP Marci Carris) will contact you and fix it.

This is in our Wiki also.
I fixed it on chat.

One should expect to pay $5 a line, so there should be about $25 for 5 lines @$5ea; $168-$25 = $143

$75 were overcharges for phone insurance @$15 x 5, they credited those back upon request.
So $143 - $75 =$68.

2 activation fees @$30 ea, second chat, they said those would be credited back in 2 months.
$68-60

That leaves $8, which could be tax.

What happened was, the girl I called said it was her first call at this job and, although I clarified I didn't want insurance, and to waive activations, those all showed up.

I think she lost everything in the activation process and I remember she had to go back and start all over, so maybe she lost all customizations of the deal at that time.

Pixel was launched as a Verizon-centric device and does not have VoLTE on AT&T either. The newest Pixel models are more carrier-neutral and hopefully will get Sprint VoLTE. iPhone requires iPhone 8 and above only for Sprint VoLTE.

Most people have not noticed a difference at the lower maximum streaming video speeds. Other carriers including TMobile already have such lower streaming video speeds in effect anyway.

Why would you have waited a month to check your plan? That's insane. I got a bill within the first week but had checked within 24 hours of signing up to make sure I was on the right plan (and remove the protection plan). This thread has been invaluable on what pitfalls to avoid. As with anything, information is your best asset.

The idea is, have a spouse or other close relative apply under their SSN for an account for use by both of you .
