Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Does the Note 9 on Verizon Work on Sprint yet?!!?! Im still waiting forever
Apparently not, but you can just check the IMEI periodically in the checker. It was discussed on Sprint Community just in the last few days among Note 9 users (with no useful information from Sprint, by the way) .

Sprint does not have much, if anything, to do with the timing.

The Sprint database updates for Samsung phones are originated by Samsung and it will update them when it is ready to release the necessary software update for the phone. The BYOD "brand switching" update *always* comes many months after the phone is released.

35000+ comments, numerous success stories, not to mention the people recently on hard times who have probably found this to be of crucial help, and all so eloquently summed up .

Warning: You might need glasses.

Seems like a scam? Honestly that is a lot of discredit to one of the most helpful threads I have seen, let alone one where you get something you need and can save major $ on, unlike most fabric softener deals etc, no offense.
WaIt " Bro". Don't dis my fabric softener BOGO.
So I've saved about $2400 in BYOD, plus $1.79 in fabric softener.... let's see... Carry the one... So! $2401.79 total savings!
Plus my clothes smell heavenly

Yes you sure can. As long as you are not within 45 days with Sprint ( SSN) , you are good to go.

Alive and strong. No one knows for sure if it will get extended but as long as the merger keeps getting dragged out the more likely it is to continue. Check back about the second Friday in April.

Need a little help with a new line...

I talked my friend into signing up here... bought a used sprint iPhone 6s+. Cleared the IMEI checker. Got a T-mo number to transfer in. Signup went all good, phones show up in online account.

Phone will not activate or make calls... called sprint for help and they say the phones are locked. I asked if they were locked to another MVNO or similar and she said no. Made me think it was locked to a Sprint account. She told me to go the the corp store to see what they can do. But we all know to avoid that if possible.

If they were locked, why did they pass the IMEI checker and pass the signup?

What can I do at this point to get them unlocked if I dont know the details? Is there a specific dept to call to get them unattached from the other sprint account?

Are you sure it is sprint iphone 6s+. Iphones are unbranded and you can only tell originating carrier by part#. What is part number MXXXXX/A, found under settings/general/about model.
You can try these

1-Reset Subscriber Settings (Carrier Reset)
Go to dial pad as though you're about to dial a phone number
Enter # # 25327 #
Tap Call
A "Reset Subscriber Settings" message will appear - tap OK
Wait 5-10 seconds; the signal notification will display "Searching" on the top left of the screen
When the phone shows a signal again, the phone is ready to use

2-Service Update (Profile & PRL Update)
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Tap the phone app
Dial # # 873283 #
Tap Call
"Starting Service Update" message will appear - tap OK
If update is successful "Service Update Complete" message will appear after about a minute - tap OK

3-Check for an old LTE APN profile and delete it.
The problem was due to a Profile named "LTE APN". (Settings>General>Profiles - Right below "VPN". There may not be "Profile" on the Menu, depending on the carrier used before.). Deleted this Profile, then LTE Data signal showed up! This Profile was probably from the previous carrier.

Also make sure port is complete to Sprint(wiki)

Lastly activation policy may not be correct to allow on Sprint.
Obtain GSX report on ebay for $1 to check if activation policy is multimode 2303 or if something like mode 10(wouldn't work on Sprint).
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...onnect_to/

I don't know about , if locked to another Sprint account, but would think this would of flagged during signup, and doubtful to get removed unless owner of account is available.

Question for those that have added additional lines to this promo - were you able to do it online, or did you have to call in to port in additional #s? I'm looking to bring 3 more lines to Sprint 1 year free since the ATT contract is over, but I really don't want to call in and would rather do it online, but not sure if it's possible since I already have 1 line free. Any advice?

So I was hit with two activation charges of $30 totalling $60. Now how do I refund these charges or get them back?

You're 99% there. Going to a corporate store won't hurt anything at this point. And may be the quickest fix to your issue. I had to go to the store a few times to get this deal and each time they couldn't touch the plan (their words), but could fix/reset my pin number and activate new phone without any issues to my free byod plan. I've activated 2 new phones now in store to this plan.
