Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Why are you bothering a company to reactivate something that you're not going to use?
What's the point?
Furthermore, who is being "slimy"?

If I was Sprint I would take money if someone was paying it.
Was going to add an S10 line if a deal was good enough and then put S10 on free line for 50 days to unlock it.

I heard this from my friend but just wanted to get any confirmations from here...
lets say I have a phone which is compatible with this plan and bought the sim card and then activate it on the same phone...later we can use the same sim in ANY phone as long as it is unlocked (may don't need to be compatible phone) and it will work. I was not able to believe it, but my friend said he done that before.

I highly doubt that. For sprint you still cannot do that. It works for Verizon as they use LTE for voice and text, sprint still doesn't have completely switched over to LTE for voice.

Does Sprint have VOLTE for iPhones yet? This is the only issue that's stopping me from signing up.

Yes for iPhone 8 and above depending on area (not yet in the whole country).

Extensions have been announced early morning on the second Friday of the month. Happened in January and today. So i wonder if this gets cut off at the same time next month. I hope we can get an official word from Sprint at some point.
Agreed - I think it is quite likely. That has been the pattern recently.

However I remember in earlier times, way back in the past, they sometimes left it right to the very last day of the month in question. There was one or two times where we were on the last day of the month and some people were saying the promo was over and then at the very last minute it was extended again. I think they were vacillating then.whether to extend it or not.

Yes I hope that we will get an exact date as the end date approaches, and even a countdown clock. The Kickstart expiries have had countdown clocks on the web site.

A guess that appears to contradict what is said explicitly in the article at https://slickdeals.net/article/list/sprint-free-year-of-unlimited-service-promotion/ . That article has links to Sprint sites that were paid for by Sprint in my opinion and is effectively an ad by Sprint.

However perhaps it is possible that the author was confused as to what he was told by Sprint. In one header he says "as early as April" but in the body he says "will stop accepting new sign-ups around the early part of April 2019." It could be conceivable he got the two mixed up.

On any case it is possible they might give people a week or two to complete pending orders where a sim has been ordered etc. They have done that with Kickstart in the past when that ended (temporarily).

So you might have new signups ending early in April, and pending signups allowed to complete after that.

Assuming next month is the last for signups, are you guessing that they will end new signups on the second Friday (Apr 12) or that they will just not announce another extension on that date and still take signups thru April? I realize I'm merely asking for your expert opinion. I ported out recently with the goal of signing up again for another year after 45 days, but 45 days just happens to be Saturday Apr 13. That's why I sure hope they don't end signups on Apr 12!

Thanks... I was able to port and create account using the 8777 number.. but my SIM never got activated (even though it was the same SIM used last year on the same phone).. that was weird ... had to go to Sprint store, and the technician was able to clear all network settings and activate using a new SIM..
happened with me as well. I had to update prl on phone, and it worked fine after that.

Yeah because you signed up before today's extension was announced.

You could possibly *try* asking if you can have the later date but they may well refuse. One person said he got that in the past but he may have been just a day or two early..
