Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Apologies if this is a silly question, but I couldn't tell from the wiki or thread. If I currently have an iPhone X on the BYOD plan (previously purchased outright direct from Apple) and I port it to T-Mobile, will it be eligible to port back to a new BYOD plan? The listed devices says only iPhone X from Verizon is eligible and I can't tell if this is a compatibility with Sprint issue or has to do with the sending carrier.

If it worked before, it is confirmed to be the universal model and will go back on fine.

Actually the phone does not even need to go on TMobile. Just the number does. The two are unrelated. You port a number and activate a phone. The two are separate.

But in any case the compatibility eligibility requirement depends on the MODEL of the phone, not what carrier it was last on. And that is of course unchanged.

Thank you! Exactly what I was hoping to hear. I'll give it a try.

Sprint offers free shipping or free pick up at local Walgreens or rite aids.
See wiki for ways to order the sim kit.
How does shipping to Walgreens or RA work? I didn't see a reference to this in the wiki.

I did go to my local Sprint store with the upc/part number and the guy refused to sell me any. Said could only sell to Sprint customer. Turns out I am a Sprint customer (with a vintage phone) but want to switch my child's phone to BYOD (and then we would follow with the Pixel 3 and Moto phone from the Target and BB deals.). but he said I would have to buy it and switch my plan.( ie I couldn't buy it for her use).

Was debating trying again, but don't want to run into the same, marginally pleasant, guy.

Shipping is free anyway these days, you do not have to bother with Walgreens.

It used to be $10 a long time ago.

You can just start an order from the link in the Wiki and you will see exactly what your shipping options and costs will be before finalizing the order..

I ported my # out of Sprint about 2 weeks ago but my account is still open. Should I call? They are billing me already and don't want to pay the $60

Account still being able to log on is normal.

Account being charged new charges is not.

So yes, Chat to get clarification. Hopefully it just a matter of interpreting the billing.

It is better to Chat because that way you can get a written transcript to have proof later.

But you can call if you really want and will be satisfied with verbal clarification without having proof later.

For those who are wondering, I have been on this deal for 6months and the service is great, pay about $15/month (their fees, so not completely free) for 5 lines. Those who complain about the signal are either disgruntled about everything or located in bad service area, which can be said for ALL carriers. I had AT&T before and they sucked for two of the users on my plan based on their location. Had Verizon before also, paid close to $200/month for 5 lines and voice quality sounds worse than Sprint.
CON about Sprint, this plan DOES NOT allow talk and surf at the same time. When I signed up, I paid for 3 SIM cards and shipping, but later went to Sprint store and got 2 more SIMs for FREE. So you might not even have to order any SIM card when signing up online, get them free in store. When signing up make sure not to have the rep add on the phone insurance service, they will insist and say you can cancel ASAP, it's BS, you can be charged a prorated fee if it passes a certain time frame before canceling.

The plan allows voice and talk at the same time in many but not all areas if the phone is supported for it.
For example, iPhone 8 or higher (only) or Samsung S8 or S10.

It will give you the shipping options at checkout for pickup at walgreens or a rite aid of your choice.

However, standard shipping direct to you is also shown as free with the same delivery time.
Yep, mentioned that in the original reply. Poster then asked about shipping to Walgreens and Rite aid.

Exactly, use it normally on a iPhone X and now on my xs max. I didn't realize when I used to use data while on phone calls til I wasn't able to before. It's working just fine in and around Nyc and Long Island.
