Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks, Reps and understood....but as a big fan of the V20 and never a Sprint customer I read the updated 3/11/19 compatibility list and was hoping there was someone who found a work around.

Have a Used Like New Sprint V20 for $80 arriving tomorrow (Thanks to SD) in hopes of getting in on the Sprint Free Year of Service.

We have another LG fan! Hey Desi look here!
yup the v20 is my 2nd favorite lg best bang for the buck phone.

i like the G5 more simply cause it is ~$15-$20 less for comparable device.

but cant go wrong with either

No offense, but how do you like V20 and G5? I have used both on sprint multiple times and V20 had the worst battery life ever (not only me but even my wife's v20 handset). G5 was good but in battery compartment it was mediocre. Both v20 and g5 I had used in my first year on BYOD. I think v35 is much better and is very cheap as well on eBay. I like that LG phones are super cheap in eBay, but I can never use older lg phones as daily device

while i dont know the exact answer, i highly doubt it.

i tend to always buy a sprint branded phone
and so i assume it has the appropriate bands

let me clarify.
i got the g5 when it first came out for $120.
i used if for a few months..then flipped it for a handsome profit, when i got the lg g6 for the same 120 when it came out.

i am using the lg g6 as my daily driver..while i wait for the lg g7 to be available for $120

i tried the z2 force also for 120 but hated it so went back to g6

currently my young daughter uses a lg g5 i got for 65
is good enough for her.
she was previously using a slow mediocre samsung j3 emerge

agree, battery life is pretty bad for the g5

i also had the v20 for a while recently while i was in between the g6 and z2 force.
i didnt think the v20 had any advantages that were useful for me.
however, i didnt dislike the v20 like i disliked the z2 force

but needless to say, is all about personal preference

having all these new flagship phones brand new close to release date for 120..i dont think i could ever pay more for them, and the v35 is not in that range yet

The great thing about the V20 is when the battery starts showing its age is just press a button and open the back and slap in a new $14 dollar battery.

What are you doing day to day that a V20 couldn't do ?

Actually all modern-day Sprint phones have bands 25/26/41.

Even as far back as LG G2 had them.

Absolutely.

As far back as LG G2 did in fact, and all models since then.

same with the g5

if i r c, when i got the g5 back i the dy, there was promotion for free extra battery with external charger
a sort of charge bank that can be used to charge any devices

i got three (maybe 4) of the g5 then.
flipped the g5's
kept the 4 extra batteries and external chargers

have served me well over the last 2 or so years

That's because they use fixed pre-announced expiration dates so that everyone in a given phase gets the same expiration date. You get the currently-posted expiration date at the time you sign up. (Right now it is April 30, 2020). But those have never been more than a few months out.
