I have one line that I can port to this deal now, and another one that has to stay on Project Fi until early May. Will I be able to add a free line to the account if I'll set it up prior to 4/4?

Can you make multiple lines on one account from t mobile prepaid?
I did it separately with two different email IDs. Wiki suggested that way. Because port out option was greyed out if you add 2nd line under the same account.

From Wiki:
"For porting multiple numbers from Sprint to Tmobile, using digital sims and on-line porting link above, at least two people had to port one line at a time (you have to go through the entire port to confirmation page, then create a Tmobile account or use different e-mail for next number). Adding more than one line caused the "Use your existing number" button to be greyed out, only allowing you to create a new number."

I got denied due to failed credit check. I have excellent credit. I was told to wait for 60 days to reapply.
I tried calling the credit department listed in the wiki. It is asking me for some kind of application number. Do I need to wait for the snail mail from Sprint to fund out the application number? Or is there another way?
I did not receive any email from sprint about my application.
Thanks

Someone on Reddit claimed that the LG G5 works on this, but I'm not seeming to see it in the list of compatible devices... Can anyone chime in? I don't have a G5 personally, but I'm trying to help some friends get on the plan for cheap. they also don't have a G5 yet, so I don't have a IMEI to work with -- to use on the compatibility checker
I bought an LG G5 from yywireless on ebay. The IMEI fails the online checker but when I called in to the number it worked. Just call in to sign up as is strongly recommended in the wiki and it will be fine.

Thanks, glad to hear. My friend should be able to do that himself. I'm seeing the SIM is $10 online, which is ok I guess. simolw416c I think. I'm guessing you had to get that too

Someone made this edit in the wiki... I didn't see it on mobile:

I just don't know if there's any special calls you have to make to Sprint to get it working... I imagine they would have mentioned that if so though
I have done the same thing and we have discussed it a dozen times.

Just call and activate it.

It is not even true that it has to have a sim. I have activated phones that do not even have a sim, they are so old (flip phones).

Check it first in THIS checker:

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...hop:030918

which is not the same and will give you a better idea of any problems.

My Sprint LG G5 (postpaid) fails the check. I plan to try it in the coming week, though, so we'll see then.

Try it in this checker:

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...hop:030918

and see what is says.

Also try it in Ting.

If you post the results from both, we can help figure out if there are problems.

You probably did not fail the credit check - you more likely failed the identity check.

If they asked about addresses, cars owned in the past etc that is an identity check, not a credit check. They are in doubt as to whether you are who you say you are because there was some minor discrepancy that the computer is worried about..

I would just call the credit department again and ask them to search by SSN.

If they cannot find anything, ask them if they can pre-qualify you now and you can just do it starting there..

Okay, it shows up in that checker and offers some plan options (but not the free year plan)... Am guessing advice is still to call. I also checked it on sickw for Sprint clean status beforehand, and says it is fine

Thanks

Great!

You're all set then once you get the sim.

Yes that is the checker for the paid plan but it gives a better indication that's all. I was not suggesting using it to sign up. I do suggest using it to get a much more accurate indication of whether a phone is compatible.

You always have to call the number ending in 8777 to sign up unless you want the highly limited online signup which is too restrictive - most of us never use that at all and I was not even considering it. It has too many problems.

Correct - average is about $4 nationally per line per month, all taxes and fees included. Can be a little higher in high-tax areas. It is there for you by zip code in the Wiki.
