Thank you, I must have fat-fingered IMEI. Worked ok following your link, then went back and tried again with the original link and it also worked.

You might not have fat fingered it.

There is code behind some of the checkers to free up the IMEI in the Sprint database where possible by removing certain left-over flags that no longer need be obstacles!

That is part of the reason I suggested running it in them.

The Verizon s10+ is not approved by Sprint. You can only use a Sprint or US unlocked(unbranded) version s10+ at this time.

And just to place the blame, this is for the very good reason that it would not work even if they did approve it because Samsung does not currently support moving branded S10's between carriers.

I feel like T-Mobile must be having issues today. It took me multiple tries even to get through their website to submit the port request. Now it's just been sitting there for an hour and doing nothing, but the port was instant when I did it last week on a different line. Nothing to do but wait, I guess . . .

IS it advisable to do over the phone with a rep. or even this online is just fine, except for today..?

For Sprint signup, better use the phone anyway, in my opinion, and the Wiki's too.

Best get the sim first before calling.

But for TMobile, see other posts.

If you have a target nearby you can get H2O sim for $1. Online it shows $1.99 but target near me has $1 price and I have noticed it for the last 2 months. Get few extra for future use.

How long does it take to port to h2o before porting back to sprint ? Same process like porting to T-Mobile?

Are you doing the activation on phone or online? I'm reading in some places that activation isn't charged online as well.
I did the whole process over the phone. The activation fee was waived.

We are likely talking about two different things. I would call for Sprint. I wouldn't call for T-Mobile.

wiki

read

C....H20

h20 is YMMV.
they require u:
1. keep plan for 3-5 business days.
2. make 3 -5 calls and ask for those numbers.
3. be able to receive a text with the pin # &/or account #
(meaning the phone has to be on H20)

in short not as easy as TM method above

Agreed, the activation fee is always waived if you call. If you do it online, you always pay up-front (but should be credited later).

However, if calling to sign up, it is best to have the sim ahead of time.

Great. Thanks. I think I have all the info to start today. I also got the right sim from Apple. Need to start with porting from google voice. Fingers crossed.

Try running through the Ting checker to see if that clears the status. Sometimes it does.
