Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Do you need a digital SIM if you are porting to T-Mo? I have been using the nano SIMs from the Apple Store the past few years.
I think physical sim is better if you have them. Just used one.

Can anyone add me to SWAC? Would be so incredibly grateful. Switched to the free plan but really miss the ability to tether.

I ported to Tmobile over phone, the agent gave me the account number , which is not 1 plus phone number. I actually didn't even ask for the account number, as I thought it is 1 plus phone number? Am I missing anything here? Which number should be the correct one for porting back to Sprint, the one given by the agent or 1 plus phone number? Thanks.a lot.

Account numbers are one format or the other, not both simultaneously.

In your case, you have to use only the number he gave you and 1+number will not work and has no relevance..

People keep posting incorrectly that it is one format or the other based just on their personal experience, ignoring all the people who were given account numbers in the other format. It is NOT the same for everybody.

To add my 2 cents, I called and ported to T-Mobile and the guy would not give me an account number either. Then I was able to Port back into Sprint using one plus my phone number. It was a little scary because the Sprint representative said he's never seen an 11-digit T-Mobile account number but I asked him to try it anyway. BTW, I did not have to pay t-mobile anything so that was a bonus.

T-Mobile account info based on thread posts. If you do online or call-in and pay $3 then account number is NOT 1+phone number, so ask for it if possible or note it from online page.. If you call-in and don't pay $3 account number is 1+phone number, you should still try to ask.
This is just based on thread posts so I'm sure someone will probably post to contradict this info.

I just called and ported into T-mobile. The CSR gave me a 9 digit account number. Did she accidentally give me a wrong number or should I be using my 1+ph number as my account number.
You should use the one they gave you.

In other interesting news, after I did the port online and paid $3 I was not able to use the same SIM card to put the second number in. But after I used the phone on the second line and did not pay, my T-Mobile SIM still shows as active and possible to use again. Too bad I don't have a third line.

Sprint is used to porting in from postpaid accounts for which the 11 digit "junk prepaid account number" format is not used by TMobile (it could not used where the phone number may change over time).

For sure. It was just odd as when I did it last year, they had no problem.

Just ported back to Sprint using a new ssn. Thanks to what Comintel advised, the account number in indeed the one the agent gave me, not 1 plus phone number. To my surpise, this time the system just passed credit check without asking any verification questions. BTW, this ssn failed last time, due to some bogus questions. The agent even didn't ask to enroll protection plan? BTW, how can I find from my account that I don't have extra added? Thanks.

Right - the breadth of experience of Sprint staff varies enormously.
