Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I sent the command list and it said I had nothing blocked. Thank you though. Seems to be specific to Nest for some reason. I was able to get a valid code for my Voya app.

Even though you have not blocked anything, Sprint may have by default.

See for example https://support.xmatters.com/hc/e..._site=true

(I realize this is not the sender you are using)

So I would find out their sms short code and do ALLOW to it.

Also send an sms to it to test it.

Thanks, I tried, but I had the same problem mentioned over the last few days. I'm getting error messages on the T-Mobile web page. I had to call T-Mobile, and the CSR started the port for 1 of my 3 lines. I'm now waiting for it to go through and, if successful, will port over the other 2.

Had a question that I am hoping someone can assist me with.

Have 3 mobile phones in my household. Is it advisable to port one number first to Sprint? Make sure that goes smoothly. And then add the other two. Or do you recommend porting all numbers to Sprint at the same time. How difficult is it to add 2 more numbers if I just port one first?

Thanks.
Yes best just port one first.

Rest can be added later on the same account without new credit approval.

On the phone porting to t-mobile and the rep is insisting my new t-mobile account number is my phone number. I asked him to reach out to his manager and he too insist that is is the phone number.

edit
The manager also stated that I am on the legacy PAYGO and the account number is the 10 digit number or just prefix it with 1. He started being rude and I asked for his manager. He said he was the manager and that he already provided all the information I requested -- THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME. Wow. didn't see that coming...

I guess I will see what happens when I try to port back to sprint (not feeling good about this Frown )
Did you fund with $3. By the account number my guess is you didn't.

Intermittent problem I guess...day before yesterday I was having issues online and hence called, however yesterday I wasa ble to goto the last page where I was even able to put my activation code...though I didnt submit. Plan to do the porting today as it was too late and I was worried on poor or no support in case of issues. Hope it works today.

I'm trying to place the order for the 3rd year and was using my own SSN (currently, I am on friend's plan on 2nd year). I cancelled the plan with my own SSN at least 10 months ago. But, every time Sprint system kept telling me my credit card was declined or use a different payment method. I tried 3 different credit cards and received 3 text alerts from my banks, all told me transactions were indeed went through. Now, I am stuck. What am I supposed to do now?

You usually need to call the number ending in 8777 to sign up a second time because, in many cases, manual handling is required to suspend the old accounts, no matter how long ago it was that you stopped using them..

The instructions in the Wiki never advised doing this online, or contemplated that anyone would try that.

You can use the same sim card as before - you do not need a new one.

Ok you are on to something, now I just need to figure out the sms code. I allowed 22000 which Nest help was trying to have me send the text help to in order to test it and now I am getting a reply from that.

We've seen this before. It is quite common.

If they allowed everything through by default we would all be deluged in spam.

Well it may have not been the best idea but I did "allow all" and it allowed all incoming and it now works. Thank you so much!

Has anyone had issues porting out, then porting back into new account where spouse has different first and last name?

Very good!

Actually that is a good idea because it will allow you to see the short code you need, and once you know that, you can always cut back if you get too much sms spam, and then allow only that one, once you know what code it is.

And my wife is back to Sprint for year 2. We ported her out for ~2.5 months of Mint, which was fine, but free is better (and we like the Int'l Roaming, even if it is slow). I'll miss this once they finally can it.
agree.

im at a lost as to what i will do when my year is up (~10 months left) ...

was thinking of red pocket..but not sure i will adjust (used 8gb last month)
